― mysticalsitarsnsnakesflyingaroundonArjuna'scartbuiltofshardsofacid (jdchurchill), Monday, 26 July 2010 22:24 (fifteen years ago)
I wouldn't count on it. When I was preparing back in March, I found a few scattered episodes on torrent sites but certainly not a comprehensive collection.
― jaymc, Monday, 26 July 2010 22:31 (fifteen years ago)
:(
― kim cardassian (s1ocki), Monday, 26 July 2010 22:32 (fifteen years ago)
I'll see what I can do!
― jaymc, Monday, 26 July 2010 22:34 (fifteen years ago)
the key would be to title it in a very non-obvious manner to avoid getting taken down.
you can put pretty much anything on youtube as long as you're obscure with titling and keep the sharers down to a non-eye-catching number.

― kim cardassian (s1ocki), Monday, 26 July 2010 23:17 (fifteen years ago)
(sorry.)
― kim cardassian (s1ocki), Monday, 26 July 2010 23:18 (fifteen years ago)
I can definitely work from that, with my favorite tried-and-true Linux software. I can burn it backwards, if you want.
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:23 (fifteen years ago)
Though that would really just be showing off. :)
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:24 (fifteen years ago)
i know the answer to final jeopardy!
― Mordy, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:26 (fifteen years ago)

― kind of shrill and very self-righteous (Dr Morbius), Monday, 26 July 2010 23:30 (fifteen years ago)
I am waiting for a .xls of questions that jaymc didn't know the answer to vs. questions he just got out-buzzered on.
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:30 (fifteen years ago)
Just came on here. Very cool!
― o sh!t a ˁ˚ᴥ˚ˀ (ENBB), Monday, 26 July 2010 23:34 (fifteen years ago)

― balls and adieu (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Monday, 26 July 2010 23:35 (fifteen years ago)
just watched it at my usual 6:30 time. walked home with a hefty little sum there, J-Mac, congratulations!

― del griffith, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:35 (fifteen years ago)
xp HAHA awesome. Totally.
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:36 (fifteen years ago)
So -- pardon me if this is a rude question -- do you still take home $8500 or whatever it was, even if you don't win? Or do you go home home with a smile and a cold thank you?
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:38 (fifteen years ago)
HE DID THE GESTURE
― balls and adieu (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Monday, 26 July 2010 23:38 (fifteen years ago)
I'm poor as dirt right now, but even I know $1,000 isn't exactly 'hefty'.
― Johnny Fever, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:39 (fifteen years ago)
It was really fun to watch, though. Good work John.
― Johnny Fever, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:40 (fifteen years ago)
well it ain't wimpy that's for sure xp
― del griffith, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:40 (fifteen years ago)
Yeah but you could do something real nice for yourself with even the after-tax take-home of jaymc's final total.
I'm just curious. And I know it's probably a very rude question. But fuck it.
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:41 (fifteen years ago)
We should try to get an ilx0r on Jeopardy every year. ENBB in 2011!
― Johnny Fever, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:43 (fifteen years ago)
The top-scorer on each show keeps his or her winnings and returns on the next show, and non-winners receive consolation prizes. The current prizes are $2,000 for the second-place contestant and $1,000 for the third-place contestant. Since the show does not provide airfare or lodging for most contestants,[15] these cash consolation prizes alleviate the financial burden of appearing on the show.
oh, this is how it works? lame! i didn't know.
― del griffith, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:43 (fifteen years ago)
Oh.
― kenan, Monday, 26 July 2010 23:44 (fifteen years ago)
Since the show does not provide airfare or lodging for most contestants
Oh wow, really? That's cheap as hell.
