i'm in a jfk jetblue terminal. for some reason i just spent $30 on a mushroom/fontina/ham pizza and a double maker's & ginger at one of the hoity-toity new restaurants.

that terminal is so fancy

at least the pizza was good -- as was the double (*hic*)

i'm in a train station

and i'm itchy

do you hafta pay for WiFi in evry airport? criminal.

really needed that strawb parfait in ATL Starbucks.

i did the backscatter thing

Waiting in stansted to go to glasgow where I'll then travel to Stranraer with my sister, her husband and my nephews and get the ferry to Belfast. That'll be on Thursday, my flight to Dublin from London was cancelled today. Awful transport hassle but at least I have a way home, in theory!

Yeah, my friend's flight to London was cancelled yesterday and they weren't offering to re-book it until after Christmas, so she said fuck it and cancelled and bought ANOTHER ticket on another airline. Hopes to be leaving in a few days.

Cute pregnant lady was sitting a row ahead and across from me on the flight here, and was totally trying to hide the wallpaper on her laptop that she set up for her son to watch "Toy Story 3."

The wallpaper was, of course, a huge photo of a greenhouse filled with marijuana plants.

I declined to comment.

Somehow managed to get from Stansted to Dublin yesterday before everything went haywire. Getting back home from Dublin Airport was an adventure though.

stansted was really peaceful and nice yday, most flights went from there i think, tho i heard belfast had a prob.

i can't get on my sister's ferry from cairnryan to larne but i booked one about an hour later from stranraer to belfast. hopefully meet sis and her family in belfast and head down to dublin with them. could have been a lot worse overall, though missed a big meetup with loads of old friends in dublin tonight.

the auld fella's sitting on the runway in dublin waitin for the de-icing truck to get around to them- current estimate two hours.
