today it is extremely fly v neck black floppy jumper that is *new*, a *new* (well, charity-shop new) print skirt in disgusting clashing colours with frills that i just liked for some reason, black woolly tights and black mary jane shoes. hair is up in a big clip. dangly silver cat earrings that i got for my 13th birthday. mascara for the first time in a long time.

I am at work today, it sucks. I've got on a black sweater from H&M, GAP low-rise jeans (dark rinse, who the hell invented stonewash), Hello Kitty socks, and black heel-y oxford-type shoes. I think they have puke on them. And I have on my earrings I got for Christmas which have been called "stunning"! But the only thing I'm really excited about is my sexy bright blue lingerie.

Check it out cowgirls, right now I just got out the shower and therefore I am wearing fresh plaid Wrangler boxers, a tattered 1996 Fresh Jive "Riddim Jack" quad- collage t-shirt, my sister's Umbro soccer shorts (which feel quite heavenly on my legs....my sister's not bad looking actually), St. Ives Collagen Elastin cream on my hands and elbows (since they have been a tad ashy lately from the cold), a dab of Persa-Gel on that zit under my chin, raspberry Blistex on lips, black metal tiara-looking hair-band that I love to sleep in because the little metal separator bars give my bangs the most sumptuous flowing layered look in the morning.....I got that good hair.

Black cordouroy trousis, black polo neck, burgundy large cardigan which I have stolen off the Arsemonkey which is HUGE and has GIANT HOLES in it and is my new favourite cardigan EVAH. Black socks! I do not know if they match perfectly but both are black! Also NEW BALANCE 802s, Brian called them my 'urban warrior' trainers, apparently they are ALL TERRAIN RUNNING SHOES which is a larff as I only evah run for the train in the mornings. Though, not bad for about a fivah.

I think it's because turtles have the ability to submerge/protect their neck in their shell when situations get hectic, therefore "turtleneck" for humans = "damn it's cold, good thing I got my turtleneck.....hell, I could roll it up a bit and submerge my neck further in warmth as a turtle would, if I so desired!" See?!? But check it out, as a youngster, turtlenecks were not my forte....my head was too big for my body.....turtlenecks only magnified this growth discrepancy....only when skiing....and even then I tried to roll it down....glorious was the day my body caught up and I wore a turtleneck the normal way, rolled up....it's like the story of one of those men who get "un-circumsized"....

Oh, yes, they are indeed the US equivalent to Polo necks. Brits probably invented the term but Yanks had to modify it as noone plays polo here.....lots of people here wear Polo Ralph Lauren, though...lots of puerto ricans....RIP BIG PUN
