Ned Raggett, Friday, 4 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I tend to wear the same thing most of the time. I have this wierd thing where I buy my clothes in matching pairs.... 2X tees 2X sweats 2 x jeans.... so today (and yesterday): engineered levis, grey tee, black sweat, black socks, black shoes.

mr smythe, Friday, 4 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Dan - subtract the Merrills, add a gold bracelet, and you're Derek Jeter! SHMOOV.

Tracer Hand, Friday, 4 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I am at work today, it sucks. I've got on a black sweater from H&M, GAP low-rise jeans (dark rinse, who the hell invented stonewash), Hello Kitty socks, and black heel-y oxford-type shoes. I think they have puke on them. And I have on my earrings I got for Christmas which have been called "stunning"! But the only thing I'm really excited about is my sexy bright blue lingerie.

Ally, Saturday, 5 January 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My white bathrobe. Shortly I shall shower.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 2 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

What I really want to know is this:

Is it fashionable to wear a black v-neck jumper over a red shirt over a purple t-shirt? I think it looks really cool. But, apparentally it ain't that stylish?

jel, Saturday, 2 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

doesn't sound exactly unstylish. but i'm turning into a goofy goffy indiekid (eeeep!) and probably should not be trusted.

want proof?: black stretchy 3/4 sleeve shirt, dk. denim cuffed 501s, white military-issue belt, short red zip-up hoodie, white socks, white headband, one stretchy blue fabric bracelet with five kitty heads, one small silver chalice necklace, one dexter's lab watch, and the sleepiest eyelids this side of the mississippi.

nancy b., Sunday, 3 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Let me break it down for you raisinheaded hamster-ass keebler motherfuckers........just kidding. Check it out cowgirls, right now I just got out the shower and therefore I am wearing fresh plaid Wrangler boxers, a tattered 1996 Fresh Jive "Riddim Jack" quad- collage t-shirt, my sister's Umbro soccer shorts (which feel quite heavenly on my legs....my sister's not bad looking actually), St. Ives Collagen Elastin cream on my hands and elbows (since they have been a tad ashy lately from the cold), a dab of Persa-Gel on that zit under my chin, raspberry Blistex on lips, black metal tiara-looking hair-band that I love to sleep in because the little metal separator bars give my bangs the most sumptuous flowing layered look in the morning.....I got that good hair.

Ramosi, Sunday, 3 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I look phat / Mink coat, seal shoes, elk hat / don't forget my Tyrannosaurus Rex / turtlenecks

Ramosi, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Black cordouroy trousis, black polo neck, burgundy large cardigan which I have stolen off the Arsemonkey which is HUGE and has GIANT HOLES in it and is my new favourite cardigan EVAH. Black socks! I do not know if they match perfectly but both are black! Also NEW BALANCE 802s, Brian called them my 'urban warrior' trainers, apparently they are ALL TERRAIN RUNNING SHOES which is a larff as I only evah run for the train in the mornings. Though, not bad for about a fivah.

Sarah, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

WHY ARE THEY CALLED TURTLE NECKS IN AMERICA? Also why do we call them POLO NECKS? How come they are different to polo shirts?! Do turtle necks = UK polo necks?

Sarah, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think it's because turtles have the ability to submerge/protect their neck in their shell when situations get hectic, therefore "turtleneck" for humans = "damn it's cold, good thing I got my turtleneck.....hell, I could roll it up a bit and submerge my neck further in warmth as a turtle would, if I so desired!" See?!? But check it out, as a youngster, turtlenecks were not my forte....my head was too big for my body.....turtlenecks only magnified this growth discrepancy....only when skiing....and even then I tried to roll it down....glorious was the day my body caught up and I wore a turtleneck the normal way, rolled up....it's like the story of one of those men who get "un-circumsized"....

Ramosi, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh, yes, they are indeed the US equivalent to Polo necks. Brits probably invented the term but Yanks had to modify it as noone plays polo here.....lots of people here wear Polo Ralph Lauren, though...lots of puerto ricans....RIP BIG PUN

Ramosi, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Are you suggesting that Americans can more readily identify sartorially with turtles than with hoity-toity polo players?

Sam, Monday, 4 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The same trousers I always wear (if you'd seen what I wear instead when I have to go down the launderette, you'd understand), dark blue Kickers T-Shirt, black jumper with disproportionately tight sleeves that I haven't worn for months for no discernable reason, my newly replenished springy metal Swatch, and terrifying fingernails (I've broken my clippers).

N., Monday, 11 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well, one tries to keep abreast of current trends, but I wasn't totally sure of my stylists' advice on this one.

Anna, Monday, 11 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

elizabeth anne marjorie, Monday, 11 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i had to go to three shops to find cheapy plastic frames to my liking that weren't eight times more expensive than everything else i own. grrrrr.

to answer the question, since i'm here:

those blakc plastic framed glasses, dk. denim levi's (uncuffed this time), black socks with white stars, little black tank top, under lil red hoodie with black rhinestone heart on it's roo pocket, one dexter watch, one blue knit kitty-head bracelet, one silver chalice necklace, two low pigtails.

it's funny to me that every time i've posted here i've been fully clothed, considering how rarely that actually happens. hmmmm.
