Hate to say it but Weirdo Records has totally made Twisted Village irrelevant for me lately. Much better stock and selection, plus Angela who runs the place is awesome and has got one of the widest wells of outsider music knowledge you could ever hope for.

Not that it was a competition, since Angela used to work at TV, but you'd figure with two experimental music stores in one metro area, only one was going to survive.

I'm heading up to Boston on Monday for a work conference that's on Tuesday and Wednesday all day and Thursday morning and then I head home. May have to schmooz with work people in the evening though I'd rather see Iggy Pop at HOB on Tuesday night (probably sold out) or go to Chow Chau City or other restaurant places you folks have mentioned.

I didn't make it. Ate in the North End Monday, and just stayed near the hotel tonight, wandering around with my tolerable work colleagues!
