I was sucked in to join by a friend just so I could look at her O/S pics. What I find odd is random strangers adding as a friend. wtf is that all about?

I joined about two weeks ago, and am quite addicted at the moment, but I can feel the novelty starting to wear off already (I'm running out of friends to add for one thing).

Joined for 5 mins last week. Account already deleted. No interest in interacting with people from the past sort of thing. I've stayed in touch with those I wanted to.

I've heard this argument a lot, but I'm a bit rubbish at staying in touch, so it's actually proved useful for me in catching up with people. Also, I've found some people I used to quite like who I'd forgotten about.

I feel that I made the effort. There are times when I feel guilty but what can you do? I can't keep up contact with everyone I liked, can I. Also I use things like that to find out about people, I don't want people finding out anything about me! [/paranoia]

Is anyone using Virb? It's like a prettier version of myspace but with flickr/video integration. I'm not convinced it offers enough that is new, and there are only about ten people on it, but it's definitely nicer to use. (http://www.virb.com/missekawasaki/)
