s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:29 (nineteen years ago)

acid waffle house (dubplatestyle), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:30 (nineteen years ago)

jambalaya backgammon (grady), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:31 (nineteen years ago)

rrrobyn, breeze blown meadow of cheeriness (rrrobyn), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:32 (nineteen years ago)

i missed the QUEBEC Office!
was it terrible?

i think the show was either
"made in canada"
or
"the newsroom"

rrrobyn, breeze blown meadow of cheeriness (rrrobyn), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:34 (nineteen years ago)

i only saw one episode and it revolved around the anchor guy reporting on a story in which he was being accused of some pedophile shit and he was convinced that he was guilty.

jambalaya backgammon (grady), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:38 (nineteen years ago)

both are horrible.

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:38 (nineteen years ago)

i have come to quite love the american office tho.

s1ocki (slutsky), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:38 (nineteen years ago)

yes, both are def not any form of the office.
i love the american office, a lot
an english canadian version would be, probably not very good

rrrobyn, breeze blown meadow of cheeriness (rrrobyn), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:42 (nineteen years ago)

the state of 30-min comedy shows in canada hurts me

rrrobyn, breeze blown meadow of cheeriness (rrrobyn), Friday, 12 January 2007 22:43 (nineteen years ago)

I'm taking five trains tomorrow to avoid a plane.

Ed (dali), Friday, 12 January 2007 23:20 (nineteen years ago)

is the plane out to get you?

rrrobyn, breeze blown meadow of cheeriness (rrrobyn), Friday, 12 January 2007 23:45 (nineteen years ago)

it will sink my street and the wood I am about to plant.

Ed (dali), Friday, 12 January 2007 23:53 (nineteen years ago)

are the trains running concurrently on five parallel tracks?

s1ocki (slutsky), Saturday, 13 January 2007 00:29 (nineteen years ago)

it is the british way

mark s (mark s), Saturday, 13 January 2007 02:39 (nineteen years ago)

jambalaya backgammon (grady), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 13:01 (nineteen years ago)

so far i:

1) bought a breakfast bagel and coffee
2) watched CNN coverage of state of the union
3) fell asleep waiting for my flight to board
4) woke up about two minutes two late to still board.
5) got a boarding pass for the next flight (in two hours)
6) chugged some Air-Borne

jambalaya backgammon (grady), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 13:03 (nineteen years ago)

i just realized i'm itchy too!

jambalaya backgammon (grady), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 13:05 (nineteen years ago)

I'm in an airport.

The ZRH terminal's color scheme is blue-grey and slate with a touch of red from the Swiss souvenir shop. I have an unconscious feeling that background music is playing somewhere but in true Enoian spirit I can't discern it. Large windows face the main runway and taxiways and there's just enough sunlight filtering through the clouds to vaguely color everything outside. With the exception of some ugly Americans (the ugliest being a loud guy in a Green Bay Packers sweatshirt who was berating a Swiss shopclerk because he couldn't take a liquid-filled snowglobe on a plane) most everyone here is pretty well dressed - businessmen taking one of the many outgoing flights to France, Germany, and Dubai.

Overall, I feel like I'm in a photo shoot for Nokia advertisments.

Elvis Telecom (Chris Barrus), Monday, 5 February 2007 08:10 (nineteen years ago)

Oh, and I'm not itchy.

Elvis Telecom (Chris Barrus), Monday, 5 February 2007 08:10 (nineteen years ago)

Zurich airport is my favorite airport in the world. That's right.

is anyone anticipating the new Baaderonixx? (baaderonixx), Monday, 5 February 2007 09:59 (nineteen years ago)

I felt so out of place in the Zurich airport when I was on my way back from my summer holidays a couple of years ago. A 5 hr wait, after spending 24 hrs hopping on 3 planes back from China.

It sure is pretty though.

and the chocolate/sweet shop was great.

jellybean (jellybean), Monday, 5 February 2007 10:55 (nineteen years ago)

s1ocki, Friday, 2 March 2007 00:56 (nineteen years ago)

s1ocki, Friday, 2 March 2007 00:57 (nineteen years ago)

oh god delay from hell

s1ocki, Friday, 2 March 2007 02:43 (nineteen years ago)

one month passes...
my flight was supposed to leave maine an hour ago but the plane i am supposed to be on hasn't even left laguardia yet. all of the shops are closed so i cannot even buy magazines or orange juice.

i also got sonned by airport security in an embarrassing gel-based personal product i didn't know i even had in my backpack (that must have been there from...summer?) beef :O

argggggggggggh

bell_labs, Monday, 30 April 2007 00:45 (nineteen years ago)

omg insult to injury with gel-based product pwn
you have the internet though! now is the time to learn something new and interesting. or distract yourself with celebrity gossip. the choice it is up to you.

rrrobyn, Monday, 30 April 2007 00:53 (nineteen years ago)

my plane is finally in the air and should be here in 45 miinutes @_@ we'll see. i opted to read ilx instead of something new and interesting!

bell_labs, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:23 (nineteen years ago)

Haha omg for a moment there I thought you meant the plane was in the air with you in it! I was all "awesome, ILX posting while flying".

Trayce, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:24 (nineteen years ago)

i wish!

bell_labs, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:27 (nineteen years ago)

i am in a stratosphere

rrrobyn, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:29 (nineteen years ago)

Curt1s Stephens, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:33 (nineteen years ago)

no that was just ILM

rrrobyn, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:54 (nineteen years ago)

ILM ban was for all the furious masturbating

rrrobyn, Monday, 30 April 2007 01:58 (nineteen years ago)

rrrobyn, Monday, 30 April 2007 02:00 (nineteen years ago)

SONGS THAT ARE ALWAYS RUNNING THROUGH MY HEAD WHEN I'M AT AN AIRPORT:

"Just A Song Before I Go" by CS&N
"One Wink At A Time" by The Replacements
"Flying Into Los Angeles" by Arlo Guthrie

Pleasant Plains, Saturday, 2 June 2007 16:16 (nineteen years ago)

i'm in miami! i feel like david caruso. YYYYEAAAAH! (this airport is horrible btw.)

get bent, Sunday, 3 June 2007 02:02 (nineteen years ago)

I so did not think much of Miami's airport the one time I was there, the exception being the Cuban sandwiches (which I'm sure are much better in town and all but compared to most airport food in general are manna from heaven).

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 3 June 2007 02:03 (nineteen years ago)

Most beautiful airport (for real): Ushuaia in southern Argentina. Small, modern, all wood, huge ceilings.

calstars, Sunday, 3 June 2007 02:07 (nineteen years ago)

the food options in american airlines terminal d are the pits. orange chicken is dodgy as a general rule, but this was a whole new level of bad.

get bent, Sunday, 3 June 2007 02:21 (nineteen years ago)

"One Wink At A Time" by The Replacements

not "waitress in the sky"?

get bent, Sunday, 3 June 2007 02:22 (nineteen years ago)
