- holds buzzer above head when buzzing

- pronounces it "Pootent Pootables," even after corrected multiple times

how responsive was the buzzer? there's always one guy mashing the shit out of it like it doesn't work.

It worked fine for me.

Although I have to admit ... they tell you that you can't buzz in until the lights around the board light up, and some champions have said that it's better to slightly anticipate the lights coming on -- but when you're actually on the set and nervous about just getting something right, some of this nuanced strategy goes out the window, and you just started pounding the buzzer as soon as Alex stops talking.

would you say you felt that nervousness for 1-2 episodes, 3-4 episodes, or 5 or more episodes?

yes, yes, and yes. and alex trebek (sure you've seen this guy; vaguely resembles famous french actor jean-paul belmondo) walks around in a bikini holding a sign to indicate whether the following round is single, double, or final. it's a great show you should watch it!!!
