Er suddenly Instapaper won't load any articles for me. iOS4 and 3GS. I choose an article and just get a dark gray page with the spinning progress wheel.

drop7 update is "in review" as of 5 or 6 days ago i think

i dont get how the os broke it. i mean, i dont know shit about programming, but it doesnt seem like anything new in ios4 has anything to do with what drop7 does. u know?

hm I never really got that into drop7. I guess it was a bit too random - since you never know what's in the gray balls it's harder to set up combos and stuff

From the iOS 4 Readiness Checklist that apple sent me, they're only saying that existing apps built with 3.1.3 should work fine with iOS4 without modification. So, maybe Drop7 was never built with the 3.1.3 tools, and there's something glitchy in there from a previous build. Plus there's the confidence inspiring "should"... Anyway, I haven't tested my app against OS4, I figure customers will let me know if it doesn't work...

Has anyone had the issue where applications that have Send an Email functionality built in are not actually sending an email but just putting it in your outbox? You have to go into mail and hit send. This is driving me crazy.

4 changed a load of graphics and sound stuff. If drop7 had been doing funky stuff that'd could have turned it into a crashed.

deleted app, redownloaded - Instapaper works fine now :D

Any recommendations for a gym/fitness tracking app for n00bs? Something that will congratulate me for my pitiful attempts on the elliptical, etc, tell me the calories I burned? Ideally I'd like to track my weight too..

Gah bought Orbital based on recommandations here and spent 2hrs playing it yesterday instead of sleeping. Too tired to do anything because of that!

OK Orbital is far too addictive, I can't seem to stop playing the supernova mode. What kind of scores are you guys getting (and also how many orbs in one shot?)? I seem to recall a thread where people were talking about their high scores but apparently it's not this one?

Tracer owns everyone on that game. I got close-ish to him (541 high score, 121 best shot) but I'm too impatient/jerky.

btw this game runs about a bazillion times faster on iPhone 4

Wow, ok, that is impressive. My problem with this game is that I get a bit negligent and accidentally touch the screen and shoot when I don't want to.

To be fair I think I got pretty lucky. Most of my games hover around 100. The top players all get over 2000 which I just can't even comprehend.

can someone explain orbital gravity mode to me i do not fucking understand what i'm supposed to be trying to do

it's just the same as regular, but the orbs have gravity that attract yr shots. the bigger the orb, the stronger the gravity.

i tried playing game for 2 seconds on train last night and didn't understand it one bit.

I'm glad Drop7 is working though.
