this show is pretty remarkably consistent. i agree they could use kenneth less though.

I love all the characters. They should have more of all of them.

caek, Monday, 10 November 2008 07:26 (seventeen years ago)

Liked it but it needs to hit it's pre strike stride, glad they reset the situation, the whole don geiss coma and related storylines got old quick.

Hoping that we get some Dennis and Dr Spaceman storylines soon.

Spritz con Bitter (Ed), Monday, 10 November 2008 09:56 (seventeen years ago)

OMG I just saw Dennis in the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Along with Penny from Lost and Shirley Manson!! He was basically the same.

I liked this episode and the last one well enough. Usually LOVE 30 Rock though. Feel it's yet to hit its stride since the break. I don't get the idea that there's been some corporate/soulless change in direction or anything. It's still the same as its ever been as far as plot and characterisation is going, just the material is a little weaker. Still, more memorable and roflworthy lines in a sub-par episode of 30 Rock than in 99% of comedy shows.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 14 November 2008 03:32 (seventeen years ago)

"wife eyes" = favorite line of the ep

Nhex, Friday, 14 November 2008 03:37 (seventeen years ago)

I wonder what Richard Moll had going on that was so important he couldn't make it on board for this episode. Were his terms really that non-negotiable?

aniston was pretty saucy

s1ocki, Friday, 14 November 2008 06:31 (seventeen years ago)

Aniston was easily the best part of this episode, and I find that really weird.

kenneth was a++ this whole episode

some doobie brother (max), Friday, 14 November 2008 15:37 (seventeen years ago)

Except Mee Ow is a rip on the Simpsons' Blue Haired Lawyer's assistant:

Bart: I want a divorce from my parents.
Lawyer: You WHA?!
Bart: I said I want a divorce from my parents.
Lawyer: Yes, I heard you. I was just calling my secretary. Yu Wah, give me the standard child divorcing parent form.
Yu Wah: Yes, sir

I didn't like this much last night, but going back and reading all the jokes here makes it seem funnier.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 14 November 2008 15:48 (seventeen years ago)

I thought the Office episode last night was better than the 30 Rock episode.

o. nate, Friday, 14 November 2008 17:48 (seventeen years ago)

But It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia trumped them both.

Sugar hiccup, Makes a pig soar and swoon (Pillbox), Friday, 14 November 2008 17:49 (seventeen years ago)

I'm glad Arrested Development didn't have some dickweed playing clarinet all over it. I'd like this show a whole lot more without the constant orchestral whimsy.
