Bizarre dream that took place at an officious ceremony where I presented Abbott with an industrial grade/mil-spec Speak'n'Spell - basically a regular S'n'S with a stupidly oversized armoured case.

me, uptoeleven, noodle vague, LJ and a hoy hoy wcome back from watching the WC in the pub, and spend the rest of the evening trying to get a 42" flat screen tv to turn on. NV very grumpy about my not having any bailey's to drink.

also, as i've only seen these people on WDYLL threads, all faces appear as 2d non-moving images on real people, kind of like 'goldeneye' on the N64, or that aphex twin video.

Ok had this dream about 90 mins. ago.

I went to the apt. of an ilxor I hate (don't waste your time asking). Can't recall why. It was either a very small gathering or maybe he (only clue) was going to rent out of room in the place. In any event, he turned me away at the door. :(

Cut to a few months later. He's throwing a party which he HAS to let me attend (in my life, the closest explanation would be an academic dept. party). Once I discover/remember it's his place, I start smooshing cupcakes all over his bed and into his sheets. Someone watches over me disapprovingly but I continue with glee.

Cut to me reading ILM (at the party?) and I come across a 1999 post from surm in which he asks "So who is this Destiny's Child band?"

Lot's of ilx dreams lately, though in none of them am I reading ilx.

1. My brother, pre-opiate addiction, says something about ilx rumormongers.

2. Lying down with my full body across a desk at work, which was like the newsroom in Superman: The Movie, or maybe like the offices at the beginning of Joe Versus the Volcano. The prodigal son nabisco is coming back, people say.

3. Eating with Roxy, who is wary of me, but tolerant. I can't remember what she says. It was something characteristic.

BONUS DREAM: Large, confusing, multi-purpose building. I show the girl the door to the sound room so she can complain about the drum sound or something from the show in the concert hall. I step over the legs of people sitting against a wall and drop into the room of somebody on the first floor. I realize that I've been the one stealing from everyone. I didn't know that I knew the building so well. I say, "Swilly fatbacks with bacon also!"

jaymc, I dreamt that for some reason I had to go back to BHS for one more year (have these sort of dreams a lot, for HS and college). I showed up to some sort of orientation, and you, Jon D3Guzm@n, Adam Gyn@c, and a couple other people were sitting at a table. Jon jumps up and greets me like we're long-lost brothers, approaches me but I'm all sweaty from (I think) just playing basketball. So I go to the bathroom to wash up, and Anselmo is in there. I say hi to him but very coldly, and then immediately feel bad about that. I come out, and we're all told that starting this year, we're going to have to live in dorms w/in the building. I freak out and wake up.

I can't remember the context of the dream, but I kept going to all these stores and restaurants and they were all playing the Beatles (as in the Dr. Whiney, Ph.D. thread).

On a London Underground escalator, passed by Masonic Boom heading in the opposite direction.

Was hastily leaving my therapist's office because the girl I had a crush on in 7th grade showed up and told me that my guitar wasn't good enough. I bump into Geir and this guy Jim Barooney. We join in this foot race that runs all through the town in which the humans are pitted against these video game runners (there are giant tv screens above the road, every hundred feet or so).

Walking through an orchard with 100ft high apple trees. roxymuzak was at the top of one tree, pelting me with rotten apples and shouting at me to GTFO.

interesting because today i started a dendrology class and we studied the ecological and economic value of fruiting trees!

This is my first ILX dream (it's kind of boring![not the ilxcameo part, but you know... a dream about shopping in a bakery? come on]):

Went to a really cute bakery. My irl friend co-owned the bakery with La Lechera! I was there buying cupcakes and talking about recipes and they had this cute little book with pictures of the girls (even though I don't know what la lechera looks like) and the cupcakes they sold. We had a nice really normal non dream-y chat about how we know each other and how it was cool and I paid for the cupcakes and left. Have a nice day! I will say that the colors were really rich. Deep chestnut wood everywhere with yellow pink and blue parts.

i always see a deep chestnut color when i read la lechera's posts!
