Wtf, who cares about a movie of how Facebook got started? Was it like an extra eventful process, or are they gonna add some fictional drama into it in the name of entertainment?

here's a guess: 1) it won't be a documentary reconstruction 2) it will shoot for more than just relating the history of how facebook started 3) it will use said story to bring out certain choice themes (idk, about friendship probably) 4) it'll be mad funny

5) characters will be made to seem more interesting than what they are irl, aka nerds
6) a story abt nerds may be actually more interesting irl

based on those involved itll prob be pretty sweet; should prob include a montage of young zuckerberg murdering hookers in his dorm room between marathon coding seshes for max impactfulness imo

Anytime I accept a friend request from someone from elementary school, it's a terrifying mirror into what it'd be like if if I stayed Mormon, in Idaho. And also a reminder that most of the people in my hometown were really dumb, racist hicks.

Hmm, that's two friend requests from school people today- one of which I added before, then deleted about 18 months ago in a mass cull of school people I plain don't care about in hindsight, and one who messaged me a while ago that I didn't reply to. I guess it's 15yrs since we finished school, hope this isn't a prelude to a meet-up or something.

my ex's sister just friend-requested me. i've had not contact with her in the 4yrs since i split with her brother, i changed my name when i got married and we have no friends in common. so how did she find me??? i don't even use an email address for facebook that she would know.

i've noticed that a lot of married ppl have their maiden names show up in gray next to their married names, but that doesn't show up on my profile.

this is freaking me out.

like i said, we don't have any friends in common. the only people she knows that i know who could tell her my married name are the family i used to work for, and they know that i don't want her brother to ever find me. this whole thing caused me to have a terrifying nightmare about my ex last night :/

Facebook does seem to have this freaky power of presenting to you the worst people from your past, those who you never thought you'd see again. Maybe to get us all to spend money on therapy, I don't know.

Anyone else getting wierd loading issues with FB today? If I go to the main page it just loads the URL with a blank page. If I flush my cache I can load FB's login page, log in, and see my news feed.

But then if I click on my profile it all goes to shit again. WTF.

Chat won't load, not that it's any great loss.

have been seeing exactly the same thing, trayce, although i wasn't bothered enough to try flushing my cache.
