yeah, it sounds great. stoked to dan cortese it, extreme style. re: the heat in august, i'm sure tomales bay would be way more comfortable, but i guess i just can't see it matching the appeal of a windy river adventure. bay kayaking seems like it would mostly just be going back and forth between the two shores while avoiding motorboats?

I wanna go back to the Sonoma coast, it's well moody. I'm not a big wine person. I just like creepy trees, fresh oysters and making a screwface.

This month's Lonely Planet magazine is good on SF, in a holiday porn sort of way.

fave wineries (off top of head) are robledo, schraumbsberg, scribe & duckhorn

Favorite tasting we had in Napa was Hope & Grace right on the main drag in Yountville. If you spend the night most hotels have deals for free/discount tastings as well.
