there did seem to be a lot of sticks up, though i don't know about on purpose. weird that neither the high sticking of briere nor campbell was even called. the only *really* gratuitous cheap shot i remember was hartnell's elbowing penalty.

It just seemed a little early to be pulling him is all. Yeah, they really had nothing to lose, but (for me) it just seemed a bit early.

i heard a stat a few years ago - i think it was between 10 and 20% success of scoring after pulling the netminder. i've never seem a team score two like that with the game winding down, but i bet it's happened

I remember years ago Mike Keenan (I think) pulling the goalie with like seven minutes remaining. (Regular season game, not playoffs.)

I can tell you that if the Flyers did not pull their goalie last night being two goals down with two to play that their chances of winning would have been 0%.

I see the Jim Joyce incident opening a can of "...well they're only human" when it comes to officials. That call on Hossa was inexcusable.
