On my one visit, I was very amused by a bar (with shows) called the 15th Street Tavern... esp one grizzled staffer in a wifebeater conducting a nonstop monolgue to himself, sorta Tom Waits' Less Fortunate Brother.

I hope an egg montage involves eating eggs all different ways. SCRAMBLED, BOILED, SUNNY SIDE UP. Followed by an easter egg hunt. Or frying one on the sidewalk.

Recently, I went to the Denver Aquarium (formerly Ocean Journey) and it was pretty boring beside the sharks and the simulation of a flash flood on the plains which is narrated by Mike Nelson. I guess I walked away with some good pictures, though.

Also, it smelled like Red Lobster in there. Minus the butter.

Pete owns all those greasy spoons on East Colfax, the Mayor is John Hickenlooper who owns the Wynkoop, Wazee Supper Club and a few other places. He apparently put his share of these places into some kind of a blind trust when he became mayor.
