Wasn't the key that Des turned that destroyed the hatch also described as a failsafe? I'm wondering if the old theory about THAT failsafe splosion and jughead being linked is coming back. lostpedia sez the finale will be 105 minutes of show, 45 minutes of commercials.

Sounds about right. A few minutes better than I was expecting, actually.

Standard hour is 44 minutes of show, 16 minutes of commercials, so we're getting two extra minutes per hour.

For wonks, that's 30% ads in the finale vs 27% ads in a standard hour, or about a 10% bump.

the only way my Lost fanatic brother and his wife would miss the finale is if they were having a baby when it was airing -- they came close, but she gave birth on Friday and they're coming home from the hospital today.

People who do this drive me crazy. Sometimes I miss something I want to watch, so I just stay off of the internet if I don't want to see spoilers. Simple. The people who bitch because they are watching it much later has massive entitlement issues.

What's even worse are people who complain about spoilers for movies that have been out for many years because they haven't seen them yet.
