I think a new board would be good. It probably won't impact me personally, but it really does seem like ILE is overloaded with politics threads, and that it's causing a bad experience for a lot of folks that come here to get away from politics

I can't imagine how an ILX user with a disdain for political threads keeps accidentally clicking on them when they are clearly labelled thus. Or even going one step further and accidentally engaging with them!

the level of politics discourse here is generally rather low but as a substitute for having to wade through twitter, usa newspapers, etc., it works well
