We already knew they love each other.

We know that because we've been told that, but it's the most unconvincing pairing on tv.

In the early seasons I inferred that Cuddy was treating House as a baby substitute. Guess the writers weren't thinking that.

The only episodes I greatly liked this season were the Wilson episode and the Cuddy episode.

Season Finale Spoilers

Well he is halfway a baby/intriguing project for Cuddy but he is also an amazing genius and a jerk (and some girls go for jerks. Is there a few types of girls that like jerks that yall can stereotype for me and is Cuddy one of them? Serious question). So there's plenty of reasons for her to like House + him acting more caring this season. Then there was the things on this finale like the meaningful gift, close husband/wife like fighting , and then House giving in to Cuddy seemed like a pivitol moment (along with his speech about his cursed leg).
I'm sure there's other dynamics to their relationship that I haven't touched upon as well.

Anyways I think the logical reason why Cuddy was at House's appartment was because she was worried about him (she knew he was bleeding + she may have seen or heard about him freaking out in front of Foreman when he was leaving the hospital) and ofcourse the mechanical breakup with spy dude must have put her in a vulnerable state as well - leading her to go visit someone she cared about under rouse that she is mostly there because she is worried about him. Needless to say they had another moment, kissed and that's all folks... until next season when we will probably have lots of episodes in which House is tested to see if he has what it takes to not be a complete loner.

I never watched the first couple seasons so I have no idea how he got along with his ex-wife... I think he has an ex-wife

Were they ever married? I'm not sure (I didn't start watching until S2, but I've since seen all the reruns). Either way, she was already gone at the beginning of the show and only turned up later on a couple times when the story called for it.

i haven't seen the finale yet (which with the exception of season 3 is always worth watching for this show) and i have been slowly been getting caught up, but damn i've damn near had it w/ this show. last year the Foreteen-athon annoyed me, but this year just bores the fuck outta me (which is something that this show NEVER used to do).

I really disliked the first few eps from the new season. Basically I've (also) had it with this show. Meh.

speaking about season finales, last night i rewatched last year's ("both sides now") ... boy oh boy, that really IS a great one. and it hits very close to home right now.

is this a prelude to them getting rid of Thirteen once and for all? we should be so lucky.

Could be good, but I like Thirteen alright anyway. I'm still bummed about Cameron being gone. Having Chase and Cameron divorce didn't mean she had to leave, but I suppose that's something her character would absolutely do.

I love Olivia Wilde, I hope she doesn't go away for good.

I don't normally watch this show but I caught it the other night and was pretty confused by the medical mystery part of it.

Adult film actor goes into the hospital with the usual bizarre symptons
They try everything
Eventually find out he has parasites
Treat parasites
He gets worse
Find out that the parasites are keeping him healthy
Reintroduce parasites
End

There was a couple of House marathons on cable when I was recovering from surgery a month back, and I ended up getting into this show. I take back all of the mean things I ever said about this show and/or Hugh Laurie's accent.

I was honestly really, really surprised that my mom hadn't caught the various Sherlock Holmes references before, as I discovered the past weekend when I was home.

You should get her to watch the new Sherlock series when it comes on PBS, it's very good.

I was mentioning that very thing to her as well, she was intrigued.

i hope this is just a terrible opening episode and the rest of the season is better cause this is the worst house episode i've ever seen

patient was ok for the 5 minutes he's there. the rest is house and cuddy: they have sex, take the day off work, lounge around, have more sex, then have a cry together. then 13 leaves after everyone is a jerk to her.

I finally caught up on this show. I have no idea why Mordy was so enraged at the first episode of the season. It was kind of slow paced but imo it was not horribly embarrassing or even bad. Defs not on the level of that episode with the machine that could read people's minds, which is my current standard for a "wtf House M.D." episode.

The episode where the boy gave up part of his lung to his sister made me cry, cry, cry. I am such a sap, guys!

I didn't cry, but I thought that was a really good one too.

Also, Progressive Flo was the mom!

this wz inevitable, but I think millions of fans would've felt jipped if they couldn't have seen House's and Cuddy's epic fail for themselves.

was Libby/Sam ever properly introduced or did she just show up this season?

dr. girlfriend was introduced last season and fought with house for wilson's affections until there was some detente i forget the reason why though.

Wilson ended up kicking House out of his, er, residence iirc...not over any warfare, most of which I think Wilson wz unaware of, but just bcz Wilson wanted to take it to "the next level" or whatever...

I haven't watched too muchof this new season, but I think Sam is my favortire character right now...

I just hate that every episode they are checking someones house for toxins. house should check cuddys box for toxins.
