neither character is particularly funny on their own, but i think both bring funny things out of jack

Yes, this. I need Nancy to go away. No offense to the wonderful Julianne Moore, but the more she lays on that Bawston accent, the more I think that what she really wants isn't Jack, it's Matt Damon from Good Will Hunting. How you like them apples? I'm done with her.

i like the show best when it's full-on ensemble comedy zaniness... relationship plot lines are a crutch for lack of other ideas.

last week's was funnier but it was an ok finale I thought

i thought this was a pretty weak episode esp by tina fey's standards -- altho it did remind me that Feyonce is my favorite joke ever
