Agreed-for some reason she looked even hotter last night.

― Elvis Telecom, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 18:28 (eighteen years ago)
I don't get the love for this show at all.
― Alex in SF, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 18:34 (eighteen years ago)
so i missed this, is the rest of the cast actually gone and not returning?
― akm, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 18:45 (eighteen years ago)
I really seriously doubt any of them aren't coming back. In fact I think I've seen some of them make public statements about going back to work on the new season recently. More likely the first handful of episodes this season will be without them just 'mix things up' or whatever.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 18:52 (eighteen years ago)
The full cast is returning, but instead of being on House's team they'll be heading teams of their own (or so says my mom, who read that someplace).
― Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 18:56 (eighteen years ago)
hmmmmm dunno about this new sidekick to-be girl they've set up. on the other hand, "yr eyes are lopsided. and by eyes i mean breasts."
― r|t|c, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 18:59 (eighteen years ago)
did i read correctly that kumar of 'harold and' fame is gonna be in this now too?? that could also suck. or be cool, i dunno.
― r|t|c, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:01 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah giving his old team their own teams could be alright, but if they're just going to put a new Cameron-type girl on House's team it'll be lame. But this show has already proved itself willing and eager to throw plausibility and character development out the window for an exciting "next week on House" promo. I give it at most 2 more seasons before they do something so ridiculous it gets hard to watch anymore.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:07 (eighteen years ago)
I thought the reason to watch this show was the escalating ridiculousness!
― HI DERE, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:08 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah, I'm just saying, there'll probably be a point where it just isn't fun anymore.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:11 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah I mean the shark has been in permanent jumpmode since that shit with the cop, the writers realized everybody loves it when house never learns his lesson and boom, fuck an ongoing saga of old man growing up, check this crazy shit out I just saw on discovery health
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:11 (eighteen years ago)
I don't want House to learn his lesson, I want him to be bloody but unbowed forever. It's wish fulfillment.
― Laurel, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:13 (eighteen years ago)
Or I should say, I only want him to be accountable to his team who loves him in their own ways, but not to hospital boss guy who makes me thinking about sharp, sharp knives.
Although that guy who played the investigator is kind of hot, he's my type all over and was also Dedaelus in The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis rowwr.
― Laurel, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:15 (eighteen years ago)
wow, never had David Morse pegged as the kind of actor that drives the ladies wild.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:20 (eighteen years ago)
he was also in disturbia as the milf killer next door
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:20 (eighteen years ago)
Well, some roles/pics more so than others. But a little hot, sure.
― Laurel, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 19:22 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah House is such a good character and HL is such a good actor that it hardly matters if there's anything else going on of interest character- or narrative-wise (and there usually isn't!).
― wanko ergo sum, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 22:03 (eighteen years ago)
WTF David Morse? THAT plot was HELL OF insultingly dumb, jesus every week it was "okay now YOU can't write scrips now" "HOUSE JUST APOLOGIZE" "I am going to glare and spin my cane they tried to make me go to rehab and I said no no no."
― Abbott, Wednesday, 26 September 2007 22:08 (eighteen years ago)
I have been geexing on Hugh Laurie interviews for the past three hours – guy's got the depression, makes me wanna give him a hug even more.
Do you mean he suffers from depression all the time, or that he is depressed about living in the U.S., away from his family?
Thanks for the heads-up about the show being back, btw. I never would have known otherwise and might have missed it.
― accentmonkey, Thursday, 27 September 2007 07:13 (eighteen years ago)
the five or six real laughs i got from the premiere were the biggest laughs i've had from TV in 2007.
― GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ, Thursday, 27 September 2007 11:47 (eighteen years ago)
the actual patient part of the story was really sad though.
― Maria, Thursday, 27 September 2007 13:00 (eighteen years ago)
I enjoy the show, but they're going to have to win me or I won't keep watching. The overamped drama about simply giving the patient dialysis was just weird. A building falls down and everyone's in prankster oodles-of-time mode instead of crisis management. I don't expect everything to be realistic, but I don't want to be distracted from the plot by the suspension of disbelief. Some funny lines though. I was hoping they'd keep the janitor on as his assistant.
― Maria :D, Thursday, 27 September 2007 13:04 (eighteen years ago)
they should just set the whole thing at hogwarts really
― El Tomboto, Thursday, 27 September 2007 13:07 (eighteen years ago)
lol kal penn
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 01:39 (eighteen years ago)
i hope he is on the show forevers
― m bison, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 04:19 (eighteen years ago)
I hope he suggests "get 'em wasted" as a diagnostic for every patient
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 04:20 (eighteen years ago)
how many roles can he do where he is stoner who is good at medicine tho??
― m bison, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 04:22 (eighteen years ago)
unless there is a harold and kumar go to mayo clinic storyline i am unaware of, this is basically dream role
― m bison, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 04:23 (eighteen years ago)
it was kind of funny how obvious even in the first scene which applicants would get fired right away and which ones would get a speaking part and stick around for an episode or two. "OK, that's Kumar, he's definitely staying, the camera just lingered on that hot girl for a little too long, she's staying." Kal Penn had even less lines in last night's episode than he did in Superman Returns, though! presumably they'll flesh his character out more next week.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 3 October 2007 13:00 (eighteen years ago)
ok this shit is just a lil emo here
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 01:45 (eighteen years ago)

― milo z, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 01:55 (eighteen years ago)
Holy shit thank you milo, I couldn't figure out who she was. Also, it was emo as hell but I shed one. I'm a big wimp.
― ENBB, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 02:02 (eighteen years ago)
the dog almost had me too though
― El Tomboto, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 02:34 (eighteen years ago)
Dark episode. Call me a moron, but why was Foreman fired?
― Bill Magill, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 14:34 (eighteen years ago)
because he's black
― GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 14:41 (eighteen years ago)
because he wasn't supposed to treat that patient???
― Mr. Que, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 14:43 (eighteen years ago)
I watched the show for the first time last night, but with the sound off (it was on at a restaurant). There was no plot to distract from the Hugh Laurie gazing, and it seemed like the hospital drama equivalent of the Batman show--a bit of surrealist theater.
― patita, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 18:12 (eighteen years ago)
this is really not the kind of show worth jumping into now without at least having seen a few episodes from the first 2 seasons. not that it'd be as confusing as Lost or anything, but they kinda had to ramp up to what's going on now. and last night's episode was pretty stupid, I still don't feel like they adequately explained House's self-electrocution.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 18:16 (eighteen years ago)
The only K.Penn role I have seen where he isn't good at medicine = on Angel
And even that's questionable -- he is using his giant exposed pulsating brain to make Cordelia sick, which is just evil medicine
― nabisco, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 18:17 (eighteen years ago)
Wasn't he self-electrocuting because the guy he saw do it described it as better than drugs? And we know House digs drugs. Plus, he wanted to test whether there's an afterworld.
Hopefully the new conniving female doctor is let go soon
― Bill Magill, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 18:32 (eighteen years ago)
I like the conniving one! Better than the boring model-looking one, at least.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 18:38 (eighteen years ago)
Also every time Cameron pops up with that horrible blonde dyejob I'm glad she's barely in the recent episodes.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 18:39 (eighteen years ago)
Blonde Cameron is just part 7,385,489 in my on-going series "Redheads: WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"
― en i see kay, Wednesday, 10 October 2007 19:30 (eighteen years ago)
Last night's ep made me cryyyyyy but then again I am sadsack grande. He put his hand on the dog's head and then he died! He loved his dog!
I don't get why they're making black kid Mormo except Mormons being in the news, or it's exotic, or something. He is handsome man tho! Fake-ass Steve Carrell plastic surgeon needs to go. And Ms. Sneakfiend stokes my h8. The end.
― Abbott, Thursday, 11 October 2007 04:25 (eighteen years ago)
I am not interested in any of the newbies other than Unbelievably Old Guy, and that's mostly because I like kind old dudes. But then, I was never that interested in any of the original team, apart from Foreman. But Foreman was only interesting when he was not being incredibly angry which he was incredibly angry all of season 3, so.
― Clay, Thursday, 11 October 2007 04:39 (eighteen years ago)
Season three was largely just painful to lukewarm, except the episode with that old guy patient who'd done some Tuskeegee shit on babies back in the day.
