Gays are discriminated against the most as of 2007, obviously. Racism will more than likely cease to exist in 50 years. Anyone who morphs the issues around their own personal agendas should blow their own brains out.

Well in that guy's defense, I should probably admit that at the last Minorities Meeting, we saw some real progress in our teenaged white guy concentration camp program. We lured 30,000 of them to Nevada with a fake poker tournament and are holding them in an underground bunker.

nabisco, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:03 (nineteen years ago)

Jesus Christ, there is no "who is discriminated agains the most?" competition (unless GSN is way more obscure/cutting edge than I think it is)!

HI DERE, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:05 (nineteen years ago)

I used to be so good at fake poker

YEAH RIGHT MORE LIKE NEGATIVE 50 YEARS

deej, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:14 (nineteen years ago)

what with the civil rights movement eliminating racism for all time

deej, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:14 (nineteen years ago)

The white, Anglo-Saxon male, the young teenage guy, is probably the most discriminated against kid on the face of the earth right now.

Yea seriously, when I go into the bodegas in my mostly black and hispanic neighborhood the arabic (qatar i think?) dudes are always watching me to make sure I'm not stealing 50 cent plantain chips.

JW, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:26 (nineteen years ago)

If you have seen the PBS piece that Hagelin was referencing you would probably agree with her. I guess it's dated now -- and I really have no interest in keeping up with the slimy contemporary "anthropology" that Viacom swears by -- but the mook thing is just like any other demographic exploitation. The difference is that white teenage boys don't care, and no one has brainwashed them into thinking they're victims.

Jon I feel ur pain

BLASTOCYST, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:33 (nineteen years ago)

Racism will always exist. Haven't you people seen Star Trek?

BLASTOCYST, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:34 (nineteen years ago)

i remember the episode where kirk went on a date with some hot romulan chick and people acted all weird, hypocrisy exposed etc

rps, Friday, 13 April 2007 18:35 (nineteen years ago)

That Hagelin article would be so much better if the headline was "BROMOPHOBIA".

"this simple observation about how badly today's males are treated garnered a huge reaction. E-mail poured in. Viewer after viewer thanked me for defending just about the only group it's "PC" to diss."

deeznuts, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:03 (nineteen years ago)

Another fucked-up thing about all this is NJ Governor Corzine getting in a car accident on the way to the meeting with the principles, one that put him in critical condition(dude's still on a ventilator, according to Air America newsreader).

kingfish, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:04 (nineteen years ago)

i was sure that was gonna go the opposite direction, with her becoming the persecuted truth-crusader. this is just genuinely depressing.

xp

deeznuts, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:04 (nineteen years ago)

don imus killed the governor of new jersey

rps, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:05 (nineteen years ago)

o i see riverwolf kinda beat me to that one

deeznuts, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:07 (nineteen years ago)

As proof that TV anchors pay zero attention to what they're reading (or misreading), I submit the local Fox station cutting into The Simpsons to report that one:

"Great news tonight ... New Jersey governor John Corzine has been hospitalized after a horrible car accident."

He didn't even notice.

nabisco, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:09 (nineteen years ago)

I remember when the calls went out on the radio and all my white friends were hacked to death with machetes. DUDES I THOUGHT WE SAID NEVER AGAIN

And then I couldn't get into a decent college because of PC. And here in the corporate world, I look around and I SEE NOTHING BUT A SEA OF DARK SKIN

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:18 (nineteen years ago)

Is Corzine dead? I thought he was hospitalized but hadn't heard anything about his death.

How is whitey victimization any more depressing than nappy-headed ho victimization? Y'all are straight up deluded.

BLASTOCYST, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:34 (nineteen years ago)

It is called a power structure.

call all destroyer, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:42 (nineteen years ago)

By whitey victimization, you talking about Corzine?

Pleasant Plains, Friday, 13 April 2007 19:43 (nineteen years ago)

Pointing out that the rapper Mims uses "ho" and worse epithets in his chart-topping song "This Is Why I'm Hot," columnist Michelle Malkin asked: "What kind of relief do we get from this deadening, coarsening, dehumanizing barrage?"

deej, Monday, 16 April 2007 17:08 (nineteen years ago)

Michelle Malkin's eventual death?

"deadening, coarsening, dehumanizing barrage" is not really a bad description of mims' delivery. guy's got flow like a cinderblock.

tipsy mothra, Monday, 16 April 2007 17:43 (nineteen years ago)

Oh man, it gets even better. When you're still trying to hype your stupid published screed, be sure to tie in any pop event possible as proving your point.

Also write in such a way to include: Jeff Foxworthy, homosexuality as a disorder, the Duke lacrosse thing(blaming the professors, of course), Chris Rock, support of that Harvard prez who went on about how women weren't as smart as men, rightwing self-perceived victimhood, and lines like "Blacks enjoy the top position on the racial totem pole."

kingfish, Monday, 16 April 2007 17:45 (nineteen years ago)

How often during the Imus brouhaha have you heard the words "free speech"? Hardly.

Did the First Amendment even come up? Nyet.

Ok, 1) it's come up A LOT, and 2) it's irrelevant.

If your mental framework allows for only simplistic causation and direct actions, you're not going be much for wondering about the context of such things.

wtf Any middle school vice principal knows that "He Pushed Me First" is a lame-ass excuse. Fuck you, Mr. Richards. Some degreee of penitence is in order here, if not self-flagellation.
