unrelated but funny
― HI DERE, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 04:17 (eighteen years ago)
First Sunday I'm sad to say kind of sucked.
― nickalicious, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 14:40 (eighteen years ago)
yeah, the first half hour or so was full of intentional Tracy Morgan lolz and unintentional "this L.A. soundstage is supposed to be East Baltimore?" lolz, but after that it kinda went offtrack, although I might've enjoyed it more if I could stand Katt Williams.
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 14:46 (eighteen years ago)
I might've enjoyed it more if I could stand Katt Williams.
#1 reason why I will not pay money to see this movie.
― HI DERE, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 14:51 (eighteen years ago)
if i may chime in about the tracy morgan real-life antics thing, i think that because his character on 30 rock is all about sending up the crazy celebrity thing that it's easy to assume that the stuff he does in his public appearances is an extension of that. true or not.
― s1ocki, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 15:02 (eighteen years ago)
He seems to be more serious in print interviews, maybe just because it doesn't make sense to showboat or do a bit when there's not a camera there, and he came off completely humorless in this interview, like it's completely offensive to him that someone could possibly confuse Tracy Morgan with Tracy Jordan: http://www.avclub.com/content/interview/tracy_morgan
― Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 15:08 (eighteen years ago)
his dvd commentary track is pretty boring and normal.
― mizzell, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 15:13 (eighteen years ago)
I hate to say it, but Katt Williams is funny.
― dan selzer, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 15:18 (eighteen years ago)
I agree ^^^^^

The bit where Will Arnett says "Thanks PHONE" - that was so much like "What kind of name is that, “MAGAZINE”?" from Arrested Development... an intentional ref?
― Not the real Village People, Sunday, 3 February 2008 18:00 (eighteen years ago)
taking someone behind the middle school and getting them pregnant = not a joke, it turns out

Also making a guest star turn is TV veteran comic TIM CONWAY, who will be playing Bucky Bright on the second episode back. Bucky is a celebrity who is there for a Republican Party rally being thrown by Jack. But Jack is looking for a younger, hipper celebrity, so he pawns him off on Kenny.
This sounds awesome! I love Tim Conway. But...do they mean KenNETH?
― nickalicious, Thursday, 27 March 2008 15:34 (eighteen years ago)
yay return of Dennis

― and what, Thursday, 27 March 2008 16:19 (eighteen years ago)
shitty season 2 writing
RONG
― Alex in Baltimore, Thursday, 27 March 2008 16:22 (eighteen years ago)
dude, wtf? shitty season 2 writing - seriously? the interruption to the 2nd season of this show is the biggest offence to art since someone chopped the arms off that one Italian dude's statue.
― Roberto Spiralli, Thursday, 27 March 2008 16:22 (eighteen years ago)
sooooo rong.
