Have decided that, as funny as Ken Jeong is in movies, THIS show is where he's at his peak.

I went to community college full time when I was 16 but I was totally awesome and popular so I didn't relate to this episode at all.

musically, Friday, 30 April 2010 04:44 (sixteen years ago)

Oh I enjoyed that.

WTF cat with unfitting music (kingfish), Friday, 30 April 2010 05:15 (sixteen years ago)

VegemiteGrrrl, Friday, 30 April 2010 05:48 (sixteen years ago)

I want Abed and Troy to have their own Harold and Kumar type big screen film.

g.w.f.nagl (cozen), Friday, 30 April 2010 12:47 (sixteen years ago)

started out thinking it was a little flat but by the end i was loling so hard. also sort of felt like a finale but there are still three episodes left.

Gee, Officer (Gukbe), Friday, 30 April 2010 13:40 (sixteen years ago)

Enjoyed the little moments when Britta and Annie were looking at each other wondering who was what.

Roomful of Moogs (C. Grisso/McCain), Friday, 30 April 2010 15:56 (sixteen years ago)

kill whiney (cutty), Sunday, 2 May 2010 01:35 (sixteen years ago)

also sort of felt like a finale but there are still three episodes left.

this show has evolved so much I have a hard time believing it's all been in one season.

da croupier, Sunday, 2 May 2010 17:21 (sixteen years ago)

O M G THIS IS SO FREAKIN AWESOME

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 00:08 (sixteen years ago)

Sherman Helmsley Teabag (Cattle Grind), Friday, 7 May 2010 00:10 (sixteen years ago)

Fuck, I want to rewind and watch that again. Maybe I'll do it while The Office is on.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 00:27 (sixteen years ago)

iiiinfinite jjjjest (some dude), Friday, 7 May 2010 00:35 (sixteen years ago)

O-M-G!!!!! not only did the unmentionable (not gonna spoil for people who DVRed it) happen....Chang's paintbomb, OMFG.....i'm trying not to laugh loud to avoid disturbing my roommate but I couldn't hold it back....

Sherman Helmsley Teabag (Cattle Grind), Friday, 7 May 2010 00:45 (sixteen years ago)

One of my friends read my Facebook post LOLing at the episode and asked me "What the hell is Community?".

defriended.

Sherman Helmsley Teabag (Cattle Grind), Friday, 7 May 2010 01:26 (sixteen years ago)

Good work.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 01:46 (sixteen years ago)

that episode was seriously special. on one hand I'm kinda like "this show is a bit too meta/referential at times" but then they pull something off...when Jeff walked into the room with Troy and Troy's like "Jeff Winger you no good..." or whatever, then changed his tone. So otm.

dan selzer, Friday, 7 May 2010 03:10 (sixteen years ago)

even just that Chang bit which references Chow Yun Fat and Face Off and Scarface all at once, they then throw in the Predator bit at end.... so much good action movie stuff in this episode

Nhex, Friday, 7 May 2010 03:35 (sixteen years ago)

Fuckeeng community was off the hooK street style!

CaptainLorax, Friday, 7 May 2010 04:07 (sixteen years ago)

also add The Warriors to the meta

CaptainLorax, Friday, 7 May 2010 04:10 (sixteen years ago)

Terminator too. "Come with me if you don't want to get paint on your clothes."

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 04:19 (sixteen years ago)

that was seriously amazing.

no turkey unless it's a club sandwich (polyphonic), Friday, 7 May 2010 04:20 (sixteen years ago)

I've known Matthew Perpetua for 12 years, but this might finally be the thing that ends a friendship:

@perpetua Wow, it would be great if Community never did another awful, awful, awful, awful episode like that ever again.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 05:29 (sixteen years ago)

tonight's episode was another level of awesome, I was dying when Chang joined the action

musically, Friday, 7 May 2010 05:38 (sixteen years ago)

xp aw man i'm a fan of his... well, i was

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 05:57 (sixteen years ago)

sometimes I think people like Perpetua just come up with contrarian opinions so they stand out more...

Sherman Helmsley Teabag (Cattle Grind), Friday, 7 May 2010 06:44 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah, I mean if this isn't the kind of thing you're looking for this show to give you, then what the hell are you even watching it for?

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 06:47 (sixteen years ago)

Another reason to think he is a chucklehead.

รด_o (Nicole), Friday, 7 May 2010 10:52 (sixteen years ago)

always hated him. so yeah.

cutty, Friday, 7 May 2010 12:05 (sixteen years ago)

i can see someone liking the first half of the season more and being put-off by some of the broader, more high concept stuff they've been doing in the last few episodes, even if i personally love how ambitious and crazy the show's getting.

iiiinfinite jjjjest (some dude), Friday, 7 May 2010 12:58 (sixteen years ago)

this was above & beyond the greatest. i <3 this show.

tart w/ a heart (a hoy hoy), Friday, 7 May 2010 13:10 (sixteen years ago)

i feel like the end of the billiards class episode was really where they threw down the gauntlet and showed how far they were willing to go, and the last 2 episodes are them going full bore in that direction. it's kind of exciting, since most sitcoms end up doing something zany and conceptual eventually, but by the time they do it's like season 5 and it's easy to accuse them of jumping the shark or running out of ideas. for Community to do this stuff this early on i think sets more of an 'anything goes' tone for the future.

iiiinfinite jjjjest (some dude), Friday, 7 May 2010 13:10 (sixteen years ago)

that all sounds quite correct

Nhex, Friday, 7 May 2010 13:51 (sixteen years ago)

also shocked that nobody posted this yet

tart w/ a heart (a hoy hoy), Friday, 7 May 2010 14:02 (sixteen years ago)

Wonder if that Brie story "inspired" Annie's loss of virginity tale from the episode about the safe sex fair.

Roomful of Moogs (C. Grisso/McCain), Friday, 7 May 2010 14:10 (sixteen years ago)

I smile, "I'm going to touch your penis..."

Just saw that the same writer, Emily Cutler, is responsible for both Modern Warfare AND the chicken fingers episodes. Let's get this woman an Emmy at her earliest convenience, thanks.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 19:08 (sixteen years ago)

Bet yall noticed it but funny which member of their group got shot first

CaptainLorax, Friday, 7 May 2010 19:28 (sixteen years ago)

Yes, I DID notice. No way that was just random.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 7 May 2010 19:29 (sixteen years ago)

ha, never thought it through like that!
