I feel like it's Christmas Eve, but that when I unwrap my present, it might be filled with killer bees.

If Those GOPeople try to steal an election that's not close, riots would be an excellent idea. (Should've been done in 2000.)

well said xp

I have faith in the Obama "ground game." These guys know how elections are stolen, and they're all over that shit.

So pissed. I had a meeting with a large Wisconsin contractor that our company has worked with for over twenty years. I cringed when I pulled in to their lot and saw the huge McCain/Palin sign in the front of their building. Anyway, while I was in their office for a 45 minute meeting, one of their employees stole our Obama magnet. It was a private lot with controlled access and since the conference room we were sitting in faced the lobby, I could see that no one else came in the building while were in there.

omfg
I hope a complaint was lodged?
― big louie moilolnen (dan m), Monday, 3 November 2008 19:36 (fifteen years ago) link
Thats the problem. The owner of the company is best golfing buddies with my boss. As in, they take twice yearly week-long golfing vacations together. So if I do complain, it will cause major problems for me here. Plus, my boss is also a huge Republican, so he's not likely to really back me up too much.

wow
― La Lechera, Monday, 3 November 2008 19:40 (fifteen years ago) link
Maybe it was a gag. Like, the employee who stole your magnet has been doing that all year long and like tomorrow, the owner of the company is going to come out to his car and find it covered under 200 Obama magnets.
― ☑ (Pleasant Plains), Monday, 3 November 2008 19:43 (fifteen years ago) link
hm seems like theft by company employees would be cause for concern but whatevs, you know the situation better than I.
― big louie moilolnen (dan m), Monday, 3 November 2008 19:44 (fifteen years ago) link
just let it go ... you lost a magnet, they're going to lose an election
― metametadata (n/a), Monday, 3 November 2008 19:45 (fifteen years ago) link
If it was me: fuck bosses, fuck golfing buddies, I want my shit back or at least 5 minutes with the fucker who took it.
― big louie moilolnen (dan m), Monday, 3 November 2008 19:45 (fifteen years ago) link
I agree with you dan, unfortunately the relationship (both professionally and personally) they have with our firm puts me in a really hard place to be very vocal about it. Obvs its just a silly magnet, but the principle of the thing kind of pisses me off.

Dan, which bus do you take to work? I just drove down MI Ave and couldn't see crap.
― another regrettable cheesesteak (Jesse), Monday, 3 November 2008 19:52 (fifteen years ago) link
I take either the 2, 6, or X28. The reason you didn't see crap is because none of the stuff is on Michigan, it's all on Columbus.

A bra seems like it would be difficult to fit without getting a custom job. Boobs would be kind of a hassle, I think. I mean, balls are no walk in the park, but at least they don't require special equipment.
