Well, the show IS called 30 Rock and takes place at NBC studios, it's kinda inherent in the premise. Need I remind you of.. STUDIO 60? Be thankful it's not as bad as "they won't even notice the billboards!"
and yeah none of the ratings for the shows are exactly spectacular, besides The Office. everything besides the WB is kicking their ass uniformly

you guys are weird. the show has always been full of NBC meta jokes and inside baseball references, and has never been gracefully plotted with compelling storylines that aren't merely there to set up jokes. also Cerie not being a cardboard cutout and then suddenly being one was just a gag.
