fucking pastrami and fucking eggs and a fucking garlic bagel

flank steak cooked in the crock pot with red onion, three red bell peppers, a can of diced tomato, and a lot of oregano and cumin, and then once that's all cooked i heap some of it on a bed of rice and black beans and then on top of all that i put avocado and cilantro and a lot of lime juice and tapatio and then i fuckin eat it

Had fucking vegetarian fucking Indian meal with my fucking brother. Pretty fucking good man, we shared two parathas, one fucking rice, a curry with paneer and fucking spinach in it plus a fucking weird but delicious beetroot/mango/lemon main which was v good.

Made some fucking tacos, black beans and rice for the occasion.

I ate a fucking McDonald's Angus Deluxe. Fucking gross. Fast food tastes way too salty to me now.

i have not had any fucking dinner yet. i had a strawberry-banana smoothie earlier, and some trail mix and a diet coke to keep my energy level up through my evening shift. the fucking dinner i want: a shawarma pita.

my fucking dinner last night was pan-fried tofu/yellow tomato/basil panini with a spicy celery salad. (the tomatoes, basil, and bread were from the local farmer's market.)

Last night's fucking dinner was pancakes, bacon and fried eggs. I don't know how I can top that.

chicken fajitas! i feel like an applebee's. these were really good tho, sweet & smoky: chicken was marinated in orange juice/achiote seeds/angostura bitters/cumin/cinnamon/salt/black pepper and i used red onion/orange bell pepper/pasilla chile for the aromatics.

"applebee's" was my obligatory swear word for that post.

been experimenting with making ethiopian food! mesir wot and some other stuff. it all turned out great

i made my own berbere powder, using a recipe i found on an ethiopian website plus a bit of guesswork. it involved grinding together something like 12 different spices. smells amazing. not too hard to do if you're used to making indian food all the time

i want your recipes... ethiopian is one of my all-time fav cuisines.

next time you're in town, we should go to the vegan ethiopian brunch buffet on fairfax! so good. other ilxors can vouch.

baked macaroni and fucking cheese

here's what i put in the berbere (you can make it hotter by adding more cayenne/paprika, but this was plenty hot):

2 tsp cumin
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp fenugreek
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/4 tsp turmeric

i have most of those in my spice rack!
