The great thing about the underarm incident, which nobody seems to have ever picked up upon, is that the ball was still bouncing, fairly slowly, when it reached the batsman. One big heave could have still done the trick (and shown up the Aussies for being gutless losers).

It's crazy. They refused to come out and play and the game was forfeited. How can that be changed? A draw?? yes I know Pakistan probably would've have won it unless England had a remarkable comeback, but they refused to play. The laws of the game are they forfeit the match.
They could've won the game then made a complaint. But they didn't. It's a complete farce.
Who the fuck is running the ICC?

Jonathan Agnew made a good point in that article linked to above: if you're losing, just refuse to come out and play, and you'll get a draw.

Or at least that's the precedent the ICC is setting.

If this affected the series outcome they would never have changed it.
