It kind of blows my mind that people I know started that improv troupe (Matt P. came up with the name) and now there are kids 14 years younger than them who are in it, who have no connection with that original cast.

I remember being on vacation with my family somewhere in India and me sitting around the hotel room waiting for lame Asian MTV to play the video for "Easy." I don't think they ever did. I love that song too, though it's weird how faithful it is to the original.

Half of the people in my band are big Faith No More fans.

I think I am the only big FNM fan in the FFs, but I'm big enough of a fan that I make up for the other two.

Why did I never get into Tribe Called Quest? I went to Dusty Groove for the first time yesterday and they were playing Midnight Marauders, and it sounded fantastic.

I would like to hear John's band cover Faith No More, for real. It would be so different that it would be transformed and fresh.

I don't think I've heard a whole Faith No More album, but "Midlife Crisis" is one of the few college rock songs I liked in college.

I listened to a cassette of my radio show last weekend. I still like everything I played. I sound oddly quite a bit like John on the air.

I only ever had the first album but FNM is great.

A friend in high school put a couple of Tribe songs (like "Bonita Applebum") on mixtapes, but I've never heard a whole album.

And Blowout Comb is really good, too, it just had the misfortune of being released after I'd turned my back on hip-hop and so I haven't spent nearly as much time with it as I have with Reachin'.

I love watching L1sa play drums, btw. She grins like a maniac and I just like her smile.
