This thread rules, but the first thing I thought of was this one episode of 'Facts of Life' where one of the girls is obsessed with Germain Jackson (I think...) and spends all the time she should've spent studying making a paper-mache bust to give to him, and then she finally gets to give it to him, only his security guy takes it away and BURNS IT in case it's dangerous or something, and she is like SO CRUSHED when he brings in the charred remains of Germain Jackson's head.

I think that was only part of it. We all have lives outside of ILX (I hope) that affect the way we behave on the boards. I'd like to believe that if anyone here ever got to a point where an internet message board was negatively affecting their life in any way and for any reason, that they'd take a giant step back. I object to the implication that that is somehow pathetic, when really it's the opposite.
