n/a (Nick A.), Monday, 11 July 2005 20:54 (twenty years ago)

pullapartgirl, I'm in Am0ry, MS, about 30 miles south of Tupel0 -- NE part of the state.

Rock Hardy (Rock Hardy), Monday, 11 July 2005 20:55 (twenty years ago)

"Pardon me, but these SUPER NACHOS are far from authentic!"

n/a (Nick A.), Monday, 11 July 2005 20:57 (twenty years ago)

I only eat the raw flesh of animals I've killed myself - everything else is BLAND and mediated. I also kill my own salsa.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 11 July 2005 21:00 (twenty years ago)

FYI - Baja Fresh's tortas are horrible. Avoid.

cousin larry bundgee (bundgee), Monday, 11 July 2005 21:01 (twenty years ago)

I squeeze my sour cream from a sour cow.

tamales >>>> burritos, though

Ô¿Ô (eman), Monday, 11 July 2005 21:21 (twenty years ago)

I eat burritos a lot, too. Or so I'm told. I'm not telling you my favorite burrito places because every time I eat at them, they get "spoiled" a-ha ha ha ha....

But nothing like a good veggie burrito as big as an arm with avocado, shredded lettuce, beans, rice and sour cream.

VM 9001 (dymaxia), Monday, 11 July 2005 21:22 (twenty years ago)

tamales are a whole 'nother animal.

In NYC I had burritos about 1-2 x per week. But then I realized that they were too big and I had to keep eating and eating and eating. Especially for lunch, the way that they are made is too too much. Now, I eat taco salad about 1-2 x per week. It is one of my favorite Tex Mexes. Especially when the bowl is made out of the taco shell. Especially in the summer. I like Baja Fresh and California Tortilla Co. I like Taco Bell, but I never manage to order enough stuff to fill up. There, the burritos are decidedly not too big. I could eat taco salad every day of the week. I wish I did. I also like chili salad.

Mary (Mary), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:25 (twenty years ago)

okay if i don't get a burrito right now bad things will happen.

president carter loves repetition (Jody Beth Rosen), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:26 (twenty years ago)

i've basically been eating one meal a day lately (yeah, i know this isn't good for you) so i'm not counting calories.

president carter loves repetition (Jody Beth Rosen), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:27 (twenty years ago)

But, see Jody, that's the thing. The one meal a day food pod known as the burrito contains many different food groups, much flavor and enough calories to carry one through the whole day.

This burrito fed me for three days when I visited the Bay Area in 2001.

Of all the things in my life that I remember with fondness, that burrito ranks right below the kitten I had in first grade and right above my long-lost Panama Jack t-shirt.

Pleasant Plains /// (Pleasant Plains ///), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:45 (twenty years ago)

W w what kind of grammar school did you say you went to?

M. White (Miguelito), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:47 (twenty years ago)

burritos don't interest me much as Mexican food. much prefer the various alternatives listed above. they *do* interest me, though, as Cal-Mex, as per burritoville. i fully understand liking other things better than burritos, but if you write off burritos wholesale, you've simply never had a good one.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:55 (twenty years ago)

at this point, I probably eat burritos on a quarterly basis

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 11 July 2005 22:56 (twenty years ago)

¡chingados!

Burritoville's burritos could feed a family of four. How many calories are in those things? We used to order out and get those at work--and I'd have like a huge pit in my stomach after.

Mary (Mary), Monday, 11 July 2005 23:53 (twenty years ago)

GUACAKKE

Rock Hardy (Rock Hardy), Monday, 11 July 2005 23:58 (twenty years ago)
