Best TV Adverts of the moment

Recently saw a nice ad for a storage company - have only caught it once. Shows a room with all its contents going back and forth like waves on the seashore.

as a kid i think i thought Grrdrrs was just some guy who made the Irn Bru. it's not like we drank it and thought 'mmm you can really taste the metal beams'.

I don't like the Shreddies ad - trying too hard to think of wacky concept to explain how they're made. Like that Coca-Cola bottle advert. Cease this shallow pretense you additive-peddling con artistes.

I'm liking the 'April Showers' one, looks like it was shot in Scotland somewhere, can't recognise where though.

The Skoda 'cake' one was good the first few times but has started annoying me.

The Nissan Qashquai 'skateboard' one is cool too.

I like it too, but it's one of those ads that irritates me, because it looks like someone shot it as part of their show reel or something, and then they basically stuck the product name on the end, almost as an afterthought.

They probably did...

I know what you mean but there's something about knitting a shreddie that just makes me smile. Also I like to eat shreddies so I'm biased towards it already. They could have an ad with "Buy a packet of shreddies" on the screen for 10 seconds and I'd still go, 'good ad, I think I will'.

Can't stop singing the "April Showers" tune in my head now - aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgh!

the two bits of genius in this advert are the golden syrup 'oil' and the wobbly jelly tail-lights.

something annoys the shit out of me on that skoda advert, and i don't know what. it's got something to do with the smart arse looks off the people at the end.

Finally Volvic have made a water ad I like. The Volcano vs Alan the T-Rex are just daft enough to make me smile!

Much better than the Evian Busby Berkeley Babies. It struck me that to remove the genitalia on all these babies, some ad exec would have had to concentrate on these areas for a couple of days in an FX suite, which make sit all the more creepy.

if you made a Skoda cake you are entitled to feel pleased with yourself. kudos to them i say.

of course it makes you think 'must eat cake' rather than 'must buy Skoda' but i'm sure they realised that.

it's the zoo owner from boosh.

but the volvic advert annoys me due to their careful use of language - there's a very obvious fudge word in there so that they aren't implying that volvic makes you alert.

it also sucks because it's an ad for water.

i just love that commercial for the pizza bites or whatever, where the mom's in the kitchen and she takes the bites out of the oven, and then a hand comes through the wall and grabs the plate and a voice goes "thanks mom!"

I love the singing Jack Russel Polo advert and the chocolate Lynx man.

Chocolate Lynx man disturbs me. Have you noticed they've changed that advert, they taken out the bit in the cinema with the Chocolate Man and the two girls, which always struck me as being a bit pervy
