Rewatching the musical number, I have to say the song is really great and NPH sung the hell out of it. I would totally buy a soundtrack to this show.

He did a great job with it, but it just made me want a Dr. Horrible sequel instead of watching Ted rhapsodize about the Unicorns.

Great part from last night's: Lily calmly taking off her earings as Peet apologizes towards the end, preparing for the beatdown. Also nice to not see Robin misused or awkwardly shamed for an episode!

yeah I enjoyed that episode! NPH directed it, hence the distinct lack of Barney this week. It felt very much like a Barney ep though - the over-the-top Jenkins stories, the "reacher vs settler" discussion, skeeball...

duck vs. rabbit argument was a great great scene... wasn't super down with the rest of it tho

i got distracted during the actual scene where they explained the duck/rabbit thing, and spent the rest of the episode mildly confused trying to figure out what it all meant. even read a couple recaps of the episode that summarized it really badly and still don't totally get it.

ted showed that picture that looks like both a duck and a rabbit

and then they had an argument about whether the duck or the rabbit was good

things get pre-empted by the football here all the time. the new survivors, for instance, missed a week after the 1st or 2nd show of this series.

The last two episodes might have been the best of the season. I totally loved Ted's impromptu song, and Robin jumping on Marshall's back was the cutest thing.

the "a-bang, a-bangity-bang" song was so lame, but i loled each time. I think Marshall singing will just always make me laugh

the last episode was just so, for lack of a better word... sweet. there's just something true about the relationships on this show even though it can be as ridiculous and sitcommy as it can get.
