yeah that would totally be wilco-fan teds fave 'underground' cd

max, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 11:06 (sixteen years ago)

Loved the throwaway joke with Ted imagining himself having a house in Westchester with three dogs named Frank, Lloyd, and Wright.

Danica McKellar has been on HIMYM twice, would be great to see her on TV more.

Michael F Gill, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 15:28 (sixteen years ago)

Isn't her day job being the hottest mathmetician in the history of numbers doe?

Body Butter (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 12 January 2010 15:40 (sixteen years ago)

Rewatching the musical number, I have to say the song is really great and NPH sung the hell out of it. I would totally buy a soundtrack to this show.

Michael F Gill, Wednesday, 13 January 2010 02:54 (sixteen years ago)

He did a great job with it, but it just made me want a Dr. Horrible sequel instead of watching Ted rhapsodize about the Unicorns.

ô_o (Nicole), Wednesday, 13 January 2010 03:08 (sixteen years ago)

Great part from last night's: Lily calmly taking off her earings as Peet apologizes towards the end, preparing for the beatdown. Also nice to not see Robin misused or awkwardly shamed for an episode!

Nhex, Tuesday, 19 January 2010 14:55 (sixteen years ago)

last night?

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 19 January 2010 15:02 (sixteen years ago)

i thought it was a re-run and didnt watch :(

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 19 January 2010 15:02 (sixteen years ago)

it should be up on the cbs site

Michael F Gill, Tuesday, 19 January 2010 18:11 (sixteen years ago)

that was fantastic. amanda peet doing the drinking game being the whole reason for the episode a+

a hoy hoy, Tuesday, 19 January 2010 18:39 (sixteen years ago)

yeah I enjoyed that episode! NPH directed it, hence the distinct lack of Barney this week. It felt very much like a Barney ep though - the over-the-top Jenkins stories, the "reacher vs settler" discussion, skeeball...

Roz, Tuesday, 19 January 2010 18:49 (sixteen years ago)

best episode this season

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Wednesday, 20 January 2010 02:15 (sixteen years ago)

i don't understand how barney didn't know who jenkins was if he works at the same place?

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Wednesday, 20 January 2010 02:16 (sixteen years ago)

he totally did! it's moseby with all the flashbacks and misinformation

Nhex, Wednesday, 20 January 2010 02:18 (sixteen years ago)

Barney did know who Jenkins was. That's why he wanted to sleep with her.

Mordy, Wednesday, 20 January 2010 02:18 (sixteen years ago)

it seemed like he had just found out

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Wednesday, 20 January 2010 02:22 (sixteen years ago)

nah watch it again, barney knew for sure

Nhex, Wednesday, 20 January 2010 02:23 (sixteen years ago)

Luz, a saucy taco slinger (hmmmm), Tuesday, 9 February 2010 07:14 (sixteen years ago)

Simon H., Tuesday, 9 February 2010 07:25 (sixteen years ago)

duck vs. rabbit argument was a great great scene... wasn't super down with the rest of it tho

Nhex, Tuesday, 9 February 2010 07:42 (sixteen years ago)

i got distracted during the actual scene where they explained the duck/rabbit thing, and spent the rest of the episode mildly confused trying to figure out what it all meant. even read a couple recaps of the episode that summarized it really badly and still don't totally get it.

Busty Oralizer (some dude), Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:02 (sixteen years ago)

ted showed that picture that looks like both a duck and a rabbit

max, Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:02 (sixteen years ago)

and then they had an argument about whether the duck or the rabbit was good

Me too. Tbh I am losing interest in this show.

ô_o (Nicole), Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:04 (sixteen years ago)

The callback to The Naked Man was fantastic.

El Poopo Loco (Pancakes Hackman), Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:06 (sixteen years ago)

max do you write for any recap sites?

professional!

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:14 (sixteen years ago)

Now we know a bunch of things about the mother I kind of think 'fuck all this filler, just get on with it'. Barneyphone was stupid. Duck-rabbit was pretty good though.

80085 (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:18 (sixteen years ago)

chyeah, professional

max, Tuesday, 9 February 2010 21:20 (sixteen years ago)

"Me too. Tbh I am losing interest in this show."

say it ain't so, nicole!

to be honest, the whole barney/cell phone thing was kinda getting on my nerves.

"with whom up can be hooked"

s.clover, Tuesday, 9 February 2010 22:27 (sixteen years ago)

ffs american tv schedules. why even have a *series*?

80085 (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 16 February 2010 09:11 (sixteen years ago)

please, if the bbc ran shows that had more than 6 EPISODES you'd have some breaks during a season

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 16 February 2010 12:50 (sixteen years ago)

*6 EPISODES*

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 16 February 2010 12:50 (sixteen years ago)

That's not true, My Family has never stopped. Maybe it should have though.

80085 (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 16 February 2010 14:23 (sixteen years ago)

things get pre-empted by the football here all the time. the new survivors, for instance, missed a week after the 1st or 2nd show of this series.

koogs, Tuesday, 16 February 2010 14:52 (sixteen years ago)

three weeks pass...

The last two episodes might have been the best of the season. I totally loved Ted's impromptu song, and Robin jumping on Marshall's back was the cutest thing.

Michael F Gill, Wednesday, 10 March 2010 03:39 (sixteen years ago)

the "a-bang, a-bangity-bang" song was so lame, but i loled each time. I think Marshall singing will just always make me laugh

Nhex, Wednesday, 10 March 2010 03:49 (sixteen years ago)

the last episode was just so, for lack of a better word... sweet. there's just something true about the relationships on this show even though it can be as ridiculous and sitcommy as it can get.

love musical wingman Ted btw - can Ted just be single forever?

Roz, Saturday, 13 March 2010 03:40 (sixteen years ago)

Haha I know! He's so awesome when he's not all desperate. But then he wldn't be Ted and it wldn't be this show. Which is awes so hey.

mind crystals over matter (rrrobyn), Saturday, 13 March 2010 06:53 (sixteen years ago)

Also I thought j-lo was great. Shld host some weird, magically likable reality tv show.

congratulations (n/a), Tuesday, 20 April 2010 12:24 (sixteen years ago)
