I'm always trying to get my friends to go there but they aren't as excited about it as I am.

I used to live two or three blocks from Rodney's in the early 90s. I remember downing scotch there like 12 years ago with a buddy, and it was actually really disturbing and depressing to my then young mind. It was like, "is this what I have to look forward to? These people?"

Maybe less depressing than chugging Fat Tire at the Cherry Cricket tho. ("Is this who I am? Some fratboy?")

executive suite! I forgot the name of my OWN APARTMENT. For a minute.

The second Sleepaway Camp was kind of my favorite. The fact that they could only afford 10 campers or so, Angela hating fornicators, etc.

Sleepaway camp 2 is full of famous people's LESSER FAMOUS siblings. Like Pamela SPRINGSTEEN and Renee ESTEVEZ. I like it a lot for that reason.

winter isn't so bad. There are still LOTS of sunny days. A lot of the big snow storms happen in SPRING or FALL, actually. And the mountains get most of the snow and then it misses here. There might be just enough snow to build a snow man or go sledding or do something equally montagey.

Now I want eggs. Delectable eggs!

On my one visit, I was very amused by a bar (with shows) called the 15th Street Tavern... esp one grizzled staffer in a wifebeater conducting a nonstop monolgue to himself, sorta Tom Waits' Less Fortunate Brother.

Recently, I went to the Denver Aquarium (formerly Ocean Journey) and it was pretty boring beside the sharks and the simulation of a flash flood on the plains which is narrated by Mike Nelson. I guess I walked away with some good pictures, though.

Also, it smelled like Red Lobster in there. Minus the butter.
