Didn't much care for the pilot so didn't watch further, but because I have no life, watched the mini-marathon, I have now some catching up to do. Also, Mrs. Pete Campbell is yowza.

good thing you have no life. this show is the best!

I wouldn't go that far, but yes, I quite like it now.

Did anyone else hear rumors that the shows' creator isn't even sure if he wants to do more than one season of this? He'd rather have one amazing season than see quality slip over time.

This isn't really correct. In the AV Club interview -- http://www.avclub.com/milwaukee/articles/how-dan-harmon-went-from-doing-comedysportz-in-mil,34126/ -- Harmon said he only wants to be showrunner for the first season and then let someone else do it so he can go off and do other projects. And obviously if it's successful NBC will keep it going regardless of the creator's level of involvement. Kinda makes sense, since Harmon did the Channel 101 website and Acceptable TV series on VH1 (which was awesome and hilarious), where they'd create new mini-shows every week and let people vote on whether they come back for new episodes, so I can see how he'd get bored doing the same show for years and years.

Senor Chang is one of the best characters on television, no question.

this episode was better than both 30 rock episodes, and this wasn't even that great

yeah that was a good reveal - totally shifted my perspective on "the group"

kinda sucked, i don't like when they go too heavy on feel-good subplots (nbc tampering?) and too light on snark and funny

i still love troy and abed though.

This was one of the lesser episodes imo.

The scenes between Jeff and the Professor were poorly acted. They both had that "this is so awkward I want to laugh to ease the tension" look.

though we also got winners like "truth is ketchup...truth is Jim Belushi. It isn't meant to blow our minds."

i liked the postcredits joke a lot

i liked abed's dance steps

i also liked shirley's speech describing brita's preparation of jeff as a cup of coffee

<3 the subtle use of "they put me on crosswords because i'm a girl AND I LOVE CROSSWORDS" setting up the credits joek.

the return of senor chang is the best two minutes of television in 2010.
