I sat with a friend at the downtown park and listened to some vulgar hamfisted fundie sermonizing for wayyy to long, then I went by this pizza shop that gives away free pizza when they close and ate it and went to bed.

Staying in bed coz it's raining and I should be down at NOTLS watching teh Early Years do a synth-duo set but I can't be bothered, so I'm eating soup and drinking Blandford Fly in bed and, erm, probably going to spend the rest of the night drawing pointy-nosed gingers. Again.

I need to get one life.

Went on a terrible, terrible OK Cupid date that was a kind of microcosm of several of my actual relationships (indulge someone far too much early on and then all of a sudden become unable to hide frustration with them, at which point they get confused and hurt).

I went to a wake today.
I don't really feel like doing anything but going to sleep.

i was out of the house by 1015 but once i came home in the afternoon and it was rainy, i couldn't really force myself to get anything done. i made some lentils and am catching up on bad tv. so lame.

Work till 9, asleep from 11 till 2..:( Now feeling desorientated

it's officially winter here, and i am holed with beers and video games :D

It is chilly here (only high 70s) and nice to curl under a blanket. :)

Last night we went to a bar (!) and a comedy show that was okay for being free. Tonight, G went to see the Riverboat
Gamblers and High Tension Wires at a skate park. I chose to stay at home, watch Sharon Jones on ACL and write reviews on GoodBooks.

I saw her here in May but the day before the show she did an ACL taping. My friend had some tickets left on her desk but we had left work early to go to a yarn store! This made me sick. I still got to see her but the ACL studio is tiny. I work right across the alley from it so missing my favorite acts' tapings is just unforgivable.

And I'm writing reviews on GoodReads, even.

awww. yeah, i saw her at the central park show here last summer. it was amazing!

Saturday Night: we all went downtown to a great Afghan restaurant, then Molly and I came home (to watch "Teletubbies," "Sesame Street," and college football) while rest of family continued onto a Savion Glover performance.

Just bought 4 tix to a Mavs/Hornets game in January. Word.

i forgot how popcorn makes you feel bad after eating it but it's hard to stop.

I lamely bailed out of going to the cinema and stayed home doing nothing, as always.

Watched two weeks worth of CSI...some Celebrity Rehab...some Metal Mania...and continued the Screaming Doo Doo Ballz world tour on RockBand 2. Wee.

Does going to a party you were invited to by yourself make you a loser? None of my friends responded to invites, and my friend last night ditched me ... so I've got the whole inside-way-too-much desocialized weirdness going on.

Fuck it, I'm not going to a party by myself. In New York the most embarassing feeling in the world is being that one lone guy walking to somewhere to be, and seeing all these throngs of groups of friends having fun on their way to similar events.
