i didn't find the scenes from the Sienfeld funny in the slightest. Was that on purpose, or is it further evidence of me not 'getting' Sienfeld? (LOL Brits etc..) /the rest of it was excellent though... Mocha Joe's an arsehole, isn't he

I think it might be you chap. I don't find Jerry's stand-up that hilarious, but I found him him to be really funny all throughout the CYE stuff, especially his interaction with Larry... I've heard the same thing from a lot of others

I agree that Mocha Joe is an asshole, although he probably could pressured Larry for a LOT more money after getting attacked by those dogs

lukevalentine, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 02:38 (sixteen years ago)

by the way, I would like to point out that keeping dogs in a car like that is illegal, shame on you jason alexander

lukevalentine, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 02:39 (sixteen years ago)

In the episode where Cheryl has to audition for the role of George's ex, the other actress she was up against was played by Elizabeth Shue, right? I was sort of surprised they didn't just use her real name like they do with so many other ppl.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 02:53 (sixteen years ago)

Maybe because in that episode her character is into threesomes and E. Shue didn't want people to think she really is?

Nuyorican oatmeal (jaymc), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 04:56 (sixteen years ago)

Hmmm I hadn't really thought about that.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 04:58 (sixteen years ago)

I dunno, there have been other somewhat famous people not playing themselves on Curb, though I'm not sure where you draw the line. I suppose Elisabeth Shue is more famous than Richard Kind, Mayim Bialik, Vivica Fox, Bob Einstein, Shelley Berman, Paul Dooley, etc.

Someone probably should've revived the jaymc + nabisco OCD TV thread last week after Vicki Lewis appeared on Curb as a character, since she also played George's secretary on Seinfeld.

Nuyorican oatmeal (jaymc), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 05:05 (sixteen years ago)

Yes, someone probably should have.

He meant the Seinfeld reunion, not Jerry himself, I think. They were mildly funny, I guess - I laughed at the surrounding stuff but not the actual scenes, I don't think.

Jerry should be a regular if Curb does another season.

Jouster, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 08:44 (sixteen years ago)

Yes indeed.

Communi-Bear Silo State (chap), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 11:16 (sixteen years ago)

wow, the larry playing george-scene in this was genius. the only problem with having jerry around is that jeff gets phased out a bit, and i like jeff.

sonderangerbot, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:13 (sixteen years ago)

Jerry seems to have taken up the time that would generally have been filled by Richard Lewis - there's been enough Jeff in this season to keep me happy.

I can't find a torrent of the last episode anywhere, it's incredibly annoying.

Space Battle Rothko (Matt DC), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:18 (sixteen years ago)

I got it on rapaidshare.

rent, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:31 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah everything on Isohunt seems to be a fake so I'm a bit wary of most of these. It'll turn up, I'm in no massive hurry.

Space Battle Rothko (Matt DC), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:39 (sixteen years ago)

it's like the first five links on that google search

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:46 (sixteen years ago)

make that 9

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:46 (sixteen years ago)

i've never downloaded a fake anything off isohunt mb you're accidentally clicking the ads

farting irl (cankles), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:49 (sixteen years ago)

All fake innit but will check out the ones on Google when I get home.

Space Battle Rothko (Matt DC), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:54 (sixteen years ago)

A Rapidshare account really is a fine investment if you watch a lot of US TV shows.

Communi-Bear Silo State (chap), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 12:57 (sixteen years ago)

You know, I just stream everything these days. You have to put up with annoying pop-up ads to get to the video, but once it starts, it's no different from watching a torrent. Try here.

Nuyorican oatmeal (jaymc), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 14:06 (sixteen years ago)

Awesome link, I had no idea that site existed.

Space Battle Rothko (Matt DC), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 14:09 (sixteen years ago)

eztv has it

WARS OF ARMAGEDDON (Karaoke Version) (Sparkle Motion), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 15:03 (sixteen years ago)

I pulled it off Pirate Bay, no problems.

Of course I want frosting. I'm a Scorpio. (kenan), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 15:18 (sixteen years ago)

The Pirate Bay torrent was from eztv. So yeah, cut out the middle man.

la monte jung (cutty), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 15:26 (sixteen years ago)

Back on topic:

Someone should do a poll of "Best Susie kicking Larry out of her house" scenes.

nickn, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:14 (sixteen years ago)

i thought she was great in the finale btw, excellent scene

la monte jung (cutty), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:17 (sixteen years ago)

the telling off she gives larr and jeff after they get them kicked out of their country club is still my favourite curb scene

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:18 (sixteen years ago)

Ha, yes. I have a lot of love for Susie.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:20 (sixteen years ago)

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:45 (sixteen years ago)

ah nerds, the link to the time didn't work. jump to 1m35s.

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:46 (sixteen years ago)

<3 <3 <3 I have to admit that some of the middle seasons sort of lost me for a while but this one was great. During its best moments it is some of the best TV ever. Also this has nothing to do with anything in the thread, but I recently realized that my best friend sounds exactly like Jeff. If you close your eyes when he's talking it could seriously be him. It's uncanny.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:47 (sixteen years ago)

Holy shit at Leon @ 1m35s. hahahahahaha.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:48 (sixteen years ago)

yeah, season 5 and 6 i was kind of going through the motions watching it, but this last season was incredible.

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:50 (sixteen years ago)

i fee bad for people discussing suggest bans right now, when they could be watching curb clips on youtube

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:51 (sixteen years ago)

You know what? That's a good point. I don't know why I keep reading those threads tbh. I think going to heed yr suggestion now instead.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:57 (sixteen years ago)

I wish there was a clip of just that "smart-ass mouth" exchange. His "mmmmph" is killing me right now.

bear say hi to me (ENBB), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 17:58 (sixteen years ago)

i know!

have we done a curb characters poll?

caek, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 18:02 (sixteen years ago)

please select your favorite CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM character from this list

Nuyorican oatmeal (jaymc), Tuesday, 24 November 2009 18:04 (sixteen years ago)
