yeah, cutty is right. last night's wasn't side-splittingly hilarious, but it had all these bizarre subplots that dovetailed perfectly in the final song.

fyi "Somewhere Out There" got to #2 on the Hot 100 and An American Tail was the highest grossing G rated film of 1986.

I was born in 1984 and grew up on Feivel. This may, however, have something to do with the fact that the film was practically a family memoir.

Even if you don't know the song, Troy singing it is pretty funny.

Dudes, when you drop the 'An', American Tail sounds like a whoooooooole other kinda movie.

That climax was so funny. Cutting between all the characters and having them harmonize that song was the funniest/craziest thing I've seen from NBC Thursdays this year, prob.

Agreed on the climax, and while it was still pretty feel-good and look at everyone coming together and achieving their goals, it did it in a way that wasn't the aspirational preachiness of most of the episodes so far.

I forgot about the Dark Knight parody scene, though. That was good as well. Did anyone else hear rumors that the shows' creator isn't even sure if he wants to do more than one season of this? He'd rather have one amazing season than see quality slip over time.

Uh. The show is getting fairly good but come on.

I think it's far from great, though I enjoy it and have hopes. Just last night I said, "this is better then Parks and Recreation was last year", and P+R has been a total gem this year. I think Community can go either way. I'm rooting for it.

He has such great facial expressions and split-second comic timing. I think that's what a previous poster meant when they said he was a subtle actor.

One of the things I like about this show is that within ~12 eps, they've built up the characters so that when Shirley talks about her post-final Christmas party, I am already anticipating lolz.

Jesus, this one was awesome. From Abed backing up Britta's jokes to the end-credits sequence.
