I need to post new pics of Gypsy. You know how you can kind of get an idea about a dog's adult size by the size of their paws as puppies? Apparently this is going to be the world's 1st 50-lb. Cavapoo.

Oddly the Bichon next to my mom's place is Maxine.

Apparently Max is a very common name for Bichons! *shrug* Who knew? We named him after the Beatles song after compiling a huge list of names - I was actually rooting for "Killer" but the boyfriend would have none of it :P

The picture wasn't midjump though, he's got this weird trick where he just randomly stands on his hind legs for ten seconds at a time and jumps down again. Such a weird dog.

He's doing well post-surgery! They shaved a bit of one of his legs to put the IV in, so his coat looks extra stupid now :P Poor thing.

We've just moved to an apartment in a triplex with a private backyard, so life is about to get a lot more awesome for the little guy!

Sadly I do have movies.. I've become *that* person. I used to videotape drunken singalongs, now I tape amusing fetch sessions. Sigh. Once we're sorted at home I may upload something to Youtube; can't remember if I actually have a video that's interesting in the slightest.

aw, he is gorgeous. my dog is a bichon maltese x, but has more of the looks and personality of a bichon. he looks very similar to max and he is a darling, a cheerful playful goodnatured smart little dog.

a co-worker just brought in her doggy to the office -- it was a 7 month old american mastiff and seriously HUGE, really sweet, but apparently not even half the size he will eventually be. scary giant monster puppy of sweetness!

and his name is DOZER which is kinda perfect for such a lol hueg doggy

i love all these fools.

Sometimes they're even cute as grownups.

Ailsa, that's the poodle who knows how to lower power windows in my sis' truck when she uses a drive-through car wash. He looks as if he is mid-nefarious plan in the pic.

Max ate our cell phone last night. It still works, but it's very badly damaged. It was at least 5 years old though, so maybe he was doing our lazy asses a favour. A few weeks ago he chewed the nosepiece off my glasses! This dog is evil. But so cute at 6:45AM when my alarm goes off and he wants to jump all over me!

This little ragamuffin has a problem with Ligeti, the Conet Project, Janek Schaefer, John Luther Adams... if it's "difficult music" or the dog, the dog will have to go!

Max and I danced and sang to Photo Jenny the other day by Belle and Sebastian. It was good times. In retrospect I wish it had been Dog on Wheels, though!
