A new 30 Rock thread because I can't find the old one

I wish they had done more with Dot-Com. "Dot-Com wants to audition" seems like a storyline you could wring a B-story from for a coupla episodes at least.

With all of the fantastic technology out there, how in the hell are we not able to get all DVRs to be "smart" enough to shift with shows?

my dvr is set to record extra minutes mostly, but I get worried on nights where other stuff is recording because if you have one show going over and the next show starting on time and a show set to record on another channel, the whole thing explodes, and I don't have renter's insurance.

I must have done, odd, must rewatch.

Mangenero's makes the best chicken parm. The mozzarella is so goddamn fresh that it actually tastes like it's good for you, I don't mean that it tastes like health-food, but that it doesn't taste like it's going to kill you.

not poor, just average, that article's "it'd get cancelled on any other network" stuff is a little overstated

30 rocks ratings were super bad the 1st 2 seasons iirc

btw jacks announcement on the subway was wonderful - i luv when they include ny in jokes - makes me feel special

it is doing ok right now (though still last place among the networks). at the same time it's very questionable that it would have made it to season 4 on another network, all the same

as a philly native it would certainly be in keeping with liz's character but i don't see anything that looks like peppers or onions in that sandwich so cheesesteak is out imo
