Pearce was born in Ely, Cambridgeshire, the son of Anne Cocking (née Pickering), a County Durham-born schoolteacher specialising in needlework and home economics, and Stuart Pearce, a New Zealand-born air force test pilot who died when Pearce was nine.[2][3][4] When he was three years old, Pearce moved to Geelong, Australia, where his mother ran a deer farm. He attended The Geelong College and was a member of the GSODA Junior Players. Pearce lived in Fithie Street Blackburn North, Victoria in the late 1980s while working on the Australian drama series Neighbours. From ages 16 to 22, he was a competitive amateur bodybuilder, culminating in a Mr. Natural Victoria title.

curb is funny. can't believe its still on. its still on right?
Guy Fawkes Night is an annual celebration on the evening of 5 November. It marks the downfall of the Gunpowder Plot of 5 November 1605, in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, attempted to destroy the Houses of Parliament, in London, United Kingdom.
It is primarily marked in the United Kingdom where it was compulsory, by fiat, until 1859, to celebrate the deliverance of the King of Great Britain; but, it is also celebrated in former British colonies including New Zealand,[1] Newfoundland, South Africa, and parts of the Caribbean. Bonfire Night was celebrated in Australia until the mid- to late 1970s, when sale and public use of fireworks was made illegal and the celebration was effectively abolished. It is also celebrated in the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda .[2] Festivities are centred on the use of fireworks and the lighting of bonfires.

― PHEAR MY POORAPULT (jjjusten), Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:23 (sixteen years ago)
I would classify that ep as one of the few times I didn't hate Larry David.
― Samuel (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:24 (sixteen years ago)
i always thought it was really funny but i just lost track. again with the endlessness, you know. do i need 7 seasons of it?
― scott seward, Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:24 (sixteen years ago)
15 minutes between each OK with everyone?
― Samuel (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:25 (sixteen years ago)
that producers finale was one of the few truly sweet moments of the whole series. it's great all the way through tho and possibly better than ever right now
― sonderangerbot, Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:26 (sixteen years ago)
don't think anyone will have a prob with that
― musically, Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:26 (sixteen years ago)
I thought the fourth season was kinda bad except for the great final episode, and figured I'd stop watching from that point on. Still, Seasons 1-3 were really great.

The newest Curb season has been pretty inspired.
― Darin, Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:28 (sixteen years ago)
yo musically, are you going to end up being the person doing the shitkicker that is the ilm decade poll? if so, i'm willing to lend a hand if needs be. refuse to run the whole thing though considering it will be like 3 times the size of this and i just don't care that much about talking about radiohead.

what time is it in otherpeopleland?

Has there been any talk of a film decade poll?
― Darin, Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:30 (sixteen years ago)
It's 4:30 in Chicago. I'll probably be MIA until I get home at about 6, by which time this puppy's gonna be ovah. But don't wait on account of me..... :(

Curb is great this season. But I say that every season. My wife can't even get through the credits soon as that little tune starts she's out the room.

was going to propose a radical alternative to this incidentally
― modescalator (blueski), Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:32 (sixteen years ago)
yeah, I was thinking about combining the noms for the 2009 and 2000s poll and starting relatively soon. Google Docs has a form function and I was thinking about using that for voting...people enter their ballots in the form and Google exports the data to a spreadsheet in a very handy way. I'll call on you if I need a little help but hopefully the forms should take a lot of the gruntwork out of it.

Curb is STILL the funniest thing on right now, imo. Pretty impressive when you consider that it is into its 7th season.

should i have not stopped after season 4? i'm kinda tempted to go back sometimes, but ehhh, i have this feeling after seeing Wire and Deadwood it's still going to disappoint
― Nhex, Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:35 (sixteen years ago)

― PHEAR MY POORAPULT (jjjusten), Thursday, 5 November 2009 22:35 (sixteen years ago)
