The Shield does slog here and there, but if you are willing to stick it out until the end, it does pay off in spades.

The Shield, 24, Damages, Sex And The City, Strangers With Candy, The Soup, SNL, and Eastbound And Down are probably all residing somewhere just below #50.
― I HEART CREEPY MENS (Deric W. Haircare), Thursday, 5 November 2009 19:53 (sixteen years ago)
No The O.C. either, but I guess I'm less surprised about that.
― Mordy, Thursday, 5 November 2009 19:54 (sixteen years ago)
lots of stuff i voted for didn't make it. i wonder if i'm the only person who voted for once & again. that was my number three, i think. what can i say, i'm a girl. i wish i could afford complete gilmore girls boxed sets. even on sale across the street the whole series would cost me 100+.
― scott seward, Thursday, 5 November 2009 20:22 (sixteen years ago)
top 10 today imo
― k3vin k., Thursday, 5 November 2009 20:58 (sixteen years ago)

― sarahel, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:08 (sixteen years ago)
all i know is that ilx polls now close at 5pm Pacific Time as opposed to 4pm.
― sarahel, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:12 (sixteen years ago)
I'm pretty sure my number one isn't going to make it. I thought it could squeak into the 30s or 40s but not the top ten. Bummer.

― PHEAR MY POORAPULT (jjjusten), Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:22 (sixteen years ago)
deadwood not even making the top 10, wow! that surprised the hell out of me. then again i did vote Doctor Who above it, so i'm partially to blame.
love Damages too, but for some reason it's a criminally unseen series
stop it, amon
― Nhex, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:23 (sixteen years ago)

Buffy at 16 makes me sad, had it as my #2
Curb placing top 10 would be a bit surprising, starting to worry it might miss out completely??
― sonderangerbot, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:31 (sixteen years ago)
That according to jim scene reminded me of the "fuck" scene from The Wire.
― Your heartbeat soun like sasquatch feet (polyphonic), Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:32 (sixteen years ago)
deadwood not even making the top 10, wow! that surprised the hell out of me.
I've always kinda wondered if people's genre expectations kept Deadwood from getting the audience it deserved. Like, did a lot of people think it was just another western and pass up on it? Because I honestly did, for a while. I'm glad as hell I came to my senses, though.
P.S. I want the complete Deadwood scripts! Someone publish this!

Because I honestly did, for a while.
Me too. I still haven't seen it, even though I've heard enough praise for the show now that I think I'd be into it.
― jaymc, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:36 (sixteen years ago)
lol I'm just saying that's what's meant by "ilx demographic."
― jaymc, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:37 (sixteen years ago)
why would it be surprising?
― iatee, Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:38 (sixteen years ago)
i watched a bunch of deadwood and never really gave a crap about it, but i could see why it might be appealing to some people. on that note i can appreciate that some people wouldn't find it's always sunny in philadelphia funny...people who are DUMB.
― wolverine is like FIGHT CLUB GOT A RIGHT TO SPEAK HIS MIND (nickalicious), Thursday, 5 November 2009 21:41 (sixteen years ago)
