You should find FT hysterical from the first episode becasue it's one of the best imo. SPIDER BABY.

I had to take a break from Father Ted because I watched it so much it started to get old. I think I'll be ok with it now though.

I only saw half of an episode of Alan Partridge, but the ad copy on the DVD box made it sound like Jesus came back just to watch this show, and I'm thinking He should have waited for Nathan Barley.

I think Dawn French is kind of 'glad she is on the telly, usually she picks good shows, would be sad to stop seeing her on television but don't love her or think of her as a national treasure or anything'.

Father Ted, Blackadder, and (the rest of) Faulty Towers are my most egregious "classic British shows not yet watched" crimes. I am slowly wading through the Chris Morris/Steve Coogan showography in dribs and drabs.

think i mentioned this a while back regarding curb your enthusiasm, but i find 'cringe' humour tough to watch, while lauding it in principle. but it's another on my 'to-do' list.

actually scratch that, you pretty much have to watch it in order to really enjoy the unraveling of the show, esp the worsening of his relationship with the bandleader which is one of the best parts imo
