Nick and Sarah: FIGHT IT. Don't fall prey to the suburbs now that you're married. It doesn't have to be that way!

The concept of characters like "Strawberry Field"...not for me.
The solution to the overperfumed is a sharp counterpunch with Febreeze.

Plenty of bungalows in Chicago once you get west of, say, Pulaski. The neighborhood where my grandma lived, in Elmwood Park, just a few blocks west of Chicago, is like all bungalows all the time.

Kels, get a house custom-made like those people who can't ever be in direct sunlight: a canopied back yard, a portico that shields you until you get in the car/to your destination, very deep eaves, covered porches, etc. Special needs, mang.
― Laurel, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 17:17 (sixteen years ago) link
I guess it shouldn't surprise me that things like that exist, yet I am still a little surprised.

What, the illness itself or the specially built house? It was on that cheesy home rebuilding show a couple of years ago, the adolescent daughter could never go in the sun. Err, maybe it was polymorphic light erruption? That's moderately treatable, though, and it seemed like her condition wasn't.
