There looks like there is going to be a lot of standing around with arms folded.

That's not how you express emotion!

As long as a few red shirts get killed, I'll be happy.

Autobot Lover (jel --), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:03 (seventeen years ago)

gawd! this is worse than could have been imagined!! (bring back Shatner, all is forgiven.)

**just works just fine** (Ioannis), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:24 (seventeen years ago)

hey guys it's a STILL PHOTOGRAPH from a MOVING PICTURE

save the Greedo-shooting bullshit for when you actually see this thing in motion

David R., Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:26 (seventeen years ago)

That's a sensible and rational way of looking at things, but this is ilx.

Autobot Lover (jel --), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:27 (seventeen years ago)

(don't remind me)

David R., Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:28 (seventeen years ago)

cannot wait to hear Pegg's accent. apparently he cried after seeing the footage.

Annoying Display Name (blueski), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:29 (seventeen years ago)

Edgar Wright hinted that this is better than the Star Wars prequels!!

Annoying Display Name (blueski), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:30 (seventeen years ago)

high praise indeed.

**just works just fine** (Ioannis), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:32 (seventeen years ago)

Let us now praise serial-killer thrillers by comparing them to Hannibal Rising.

David R., Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:39 (seventeen years ago)

All these pictures just spell Jim Henson's Star Trek Babies to me, which will really, really suck.

Little Hussein (Pancakes Hackman), Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:45 (seventeen years ago)

guys the bridge looks awesome

adam, Thursday, 16 October 2008 12:47 (seventeen years ago)

It looks like it was shot in the Nintendo World store. Is it too much to ask for some thru-continuity between Enterprise and ST:TOS?

snoball, Thursday, 16 October 2008 13:08 (seventeen years ago)

everyone is pretending enterprise didn't happen

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 16 October 2008 14:53 (seventeen years ago)

CharlieNo4, Thursday, 16 October 2008 16:50 (seventeen years ago)

cannot wait to hear Pegg's accent. apparently he cried after seeing the footage.

CharlieNo4, Thursday, 16 October 2008 16:50 (seventeen years ago)

Still not sure how I feel about this thing as a whole exactly but I am really looking forward to Sylar Spock.

two weeks pass...

And a pic of the new Enterprise

Chris Barrus (Elvis Telecom), Wednesday, 12 November 2008 01:52 (seventeen years ago)

Proportions look kinda strange (I suspect the picture foreshortens things) but I heart the o.g. Enterprise look

Chris Barrus (Elvis Telecom), Wednesday, 12 November 2008 01:53 (seventeen years ago)

This is going to suck. I can handle re-imaginings of Batman, but not Trek.

snoball, Wednesday, 12 November 2008 11:04 (seventeen years ago)

I mean, FFS they've made the Enterprise look like a Schwinn bicycle.

the dan glickman from the hilarious motion picture association of america (max), Saturday, 15 November 2008 16:34 (seventeen years ago)

I just re-watched Wrath of Khan the other day and they make a big deal about how Kirk is a collector of antiques. In a scene in his apartment I spotted that he and I have the exact same chrome & glass diamond-shaped book shelf.

I'm kinda assuming he has mine in the future, so I have to take really good care of it now.

Nate Carson, Saturday, 15 November 2008 17:20 (seventeen years ago)

If you have a Commodore PET, maybe you could spray it silver and sell that to him as well...

snoball, Saturday, 15 November 2008 17:22 (seventeen years ago)

Yes, a whole room full of computers that just run vector animation patterns would be pretty cool too.
