Random Impromptu ILxers Sighting

Aw, I kinda wish I said something. I saw what I thought was a glimmer of stence walk by and I should have just gone to see. Then when I noticed him again he was leaving.

Were there ilxors sitting at a table just to the left of the bar?

yeah i just happened to be there last night but there was like a convention or something. tehresa and big v. and some other people i don't know. maybe laurel too? didn't see jw.

I probably would recognize laurel if I saw her. The girl flipping the bird and smiling did not look familiar - if it was aimed at me I feel very silly because I was just staring blankly and drunkenly and confusedly.

also I bizarrely ran into a friend of my brother's, a guy who lives in Calif. but was in town doing a puppet show @ sound fix. small world.

Woah. Sometime this weekend, maybe Sunday night, I saw a few brass band guys standing under the El on Belmont across the street from the station, just talking and hanging out with their instruments. I almost snapped a photo to show you, but now I realize that might've been you.

not exactly a random sighting, but my first ever IRL encounter with another ilxor:

alex in SF and his new wife are in NZ for their honeymoon, and they came into my restaurant for dinner tonight. when alex posted a thread for itinerary ideas for their trip i told him to stop in if they had time and ask for me. it was a hectic night and i see this couple standing at the door; i go up and ask them if someone is looking after them and the guy says "is justine working tonight?". i respond with the obvious answer and he says "hi i'm alex from ilx!".

totally cool getting to meet them :)
