Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:53 (twenty-two years ago)

it's a magic ink blog

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:54 (twenty-two years ago)

oh I think I know...

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

works fine for me.

Kingfishee (Kingfish), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

put it under black light and in front of a mirror while wearing cardboard glasses with red plastic-paper lenses.

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Because you're listed as a friend, dork.

How about now?

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:58 (twenty-two years ago)

yes and no

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 January 2004 19:59 (twenty-two years ago)

It works for me. Do you like livejournal better than blogger?

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 8 January 2004 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Because you're listed as a friend, dork.

oh yeah.

Kingfishee (Kingfish), Thursday, 8 January 2004 20:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I dunno really, Jules - I think I like the comment thingy on livejournal better, but blogger was fun too.

I'M FICKLE.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 8 January 2004 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't have a livejournal account anymore luna :(

I'm going to become a pill addict. The xanax has been keeping me mellow and helps to keep things from getting to me. Or from dreading certain periods/ assignments.

I just took a zyprexa, which isn't PRN (as needed) but it takes the angry edge when I do get wound up. like right now with 6th period.

*sigh* the job market suX0rs so it looks like I might have to stick with this for awhile. By the time June's here I'll be ready for Betty Ford.

Viva La Sam (thatgirl), Thursday, 8 January 2004 20:09 (twenty-two years ago)

See if it works now, Sam - I think I changed it back to public.

I'm so bored I could scream - email me, y'all.

Please?

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 8 January 2004 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Yep that worked, thanks darlin!

Viva La Sam (thatgirl), Thursday, 8 January 2004 20:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm seriously thinking about sending my cover of Elliot Smiths "no name #3" in for the ILX comp. just for a little tribute action and no, i don't ruin it.

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 9 January 2004 14:03 (twenty-two years ago)

And I haven't updated my blog because I can never think of anything good to say.

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 9 January 2004 14:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Make stuff up!

Casuistry (Chris P), Friday, 9 January 2004 16:22 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm ghostwriting something.

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 9 January 2004 16:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Casuistry (Chris P), Friday, 9 January 2004 16:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Kingfishee (Kingfish), Friday, 9 January 2004 16:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Sug, I don't have anything good to say either, but luckily, I don't let that slow me down.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Ergh. I was going to go out and have an adventure today but it keeps snowing. Oh well. I'll probably go out anyways.

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:13 (twenty-two years ago)

where I live, it's always warming when it snows (because the clous are low and that has something to do with something.

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah fuck it. I'm stripping down to my boxers and taking a visit to the Field Museum.

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:17 (twenty-two years ago)

What does it mean if the snow is moving sideways?

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Amazing Randy (Amazing Randy), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Remind me how much I miss winter in New England again?

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:51 (twenty-two years ago)

. < this much?

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 9 January 2004 17:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I do miss it a little - just not the ice or the walk-around-the-side-of-a building-and-get-artic-breath-stealing-wind-in-your-face incidents. Plus, I hate it when my snot freezes.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:02 (twenty-two years ago)

its approx 2 degrees outside. windchill of -18!

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm at 56 degrees with 80% humidity, no windchill at all...

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Welcome to winter in LA.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm at room temperature. Cuz I'm in a room. Indoors. Where the hell do guys have your desks?

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Please don't kick my ass.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Kingfishee (Kingfish), Friday, 9 January 2004 19:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I made it back. The snow didn't kill me. Hooray!
The Field Museum was weird.

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:21 (twenty-two years ago)

The Field Museum is awesome. Is that the one that has the re-created old-time town? That always creeped me out. Felt like I was on a Twilight Zone set.

oops (Oops), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't see that. There were some recreated Polynesian stores. That was neat, as was the Egyptian tomb. But the rooms and rooms of stuffed animals were weird, why not just go to a zoo and see live animals? I think someone on ILX said that it was fun if you were wasted, which I can definitely see. The best was coming out of the museum and seeing the skyline and the partially frozen lake with the snow coming down.

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I miss Sarah.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:36 (twenty-two years ago)

She misses you guys too. She has the internet at her new job but since it's her first week, she doesn't want to mess around online too much. But I'll make her get on at home this weekend.

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't remember there being that many stuffed animals. I know there's that one gorilla, Bushman I think, who used to be at the Lincoln Park Zoo forever and was beloved by the city. Now that I think about it I don't remember much of what is there. Time for another visit.
Do you know that each museum has a free day? You should definitely check out the Art Institute---the free day is Tuesday I think. Though I think there's never a fee, just a suggested donation. Which is cool cause if you go there and it's about to close in an hour you can choose to give just a couple bucks. I'm not into art much but it's one of the best museums in the world. Plus, you can re-create scenes from Ferris Bueller.

oops (Oops), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:42 (twenty-two years ago)

We actually went to the Art Institute last week on the free day, with Sarah's mom, and I saw that the Field Museum has free days on Monday and Tuesday, but I really needed to get out of the apartment today. What's even lamer is that I had to pay the out-of-state price for my ticket, $2 extra, because I don't have any Illinois ID yet.

NA (Nick A.), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Plus, you can re-create scenes from Ferris Bueller.

I SO want to do this.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 9 January 2004 22:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick, much as we miss Sarah, I think I speak for all of us except Oops when I say that we're glad you're posting more these days!
