Boy Floats Away In Balloon

My first thought on seeing the balloon was that it was too flimsy and deflated looking to actually hold the 40-50 pounds of a six year old.

It does seem rather unlikely. I'm hoping it's a big charade, and the kid is hiding out somewhere.

I was leaving the gym when I heard about balloon boy. I walked out of the lockers and there was a big group of people gathered around a TV. The screen had weirdly-shaped flying objects on it, maybe like a flying saucer. I figured it was the Martians finally attacking or at least 9/11 all over again. Then they said it was a kid in a balloon. Never forget, man. Never forget.

As someone who has dealt with these kinds of cases before my armchair analysis is that the ballon landed empty in a farmers field.

It would be tremendously out of order to post a Youtube of that last scene from Cloverfield here, wouldn't it?
