OK, the show has just jumped the shark and there's no turning back. Chase killed an African dictator? WTF??
James Earl Jones was friggin awesome though.
― NoTimeBeforeTime, Friday, 9 October 2009 22:21 (sixteen years ago)
And part of Chase's rationale was to be cool with his wife. Can you imagine arguing about that before sex, whether you should have let him die?
― existential eggs (Abbott), Friday, 9 October 2009 22:30 (sixteen years ago)
reading this thread is making me hate Foreman but I'll probably just go back to thinking he is your everyday boring guy
oh yeah, Chase is awesome now. I pretty much forgot that I liked him since he has been gone for so long. Now that I think about it, there was a time when Foreman was a jerk who pretty much said he couldn't care less about any of the other co-workers outside of work (Chase and Cameron). I never had a problem with 13 but she acts like the type of girl who never laughs at anything. I think half the actors on the show are boring but it's somewhat excusable because it makes the hospital somewhat more realistic and you have to expect a drama to have serious characters like that.
― I'm the best maaaayne, I did it (CaptainLorax), Friday, 9 October 2009 22:55 (sixteen years ago)
Last week's episode (when he took House's job and fired 13) was probably #1 on the all-time list of "Foreman acts like a douche" episodes. I guess I love to hate the guy, although his relationship with 13 isn't interesting at all.

Cameron is gone (aside, her first name was Allison?)
House: Poor Jennifer Morrison has publicly confirmed that her time as Dr. Allison Cameron on House is done. Jen's admission came in an interview on The Bonnie Hunt Show that's scheduled to air Wednesday. Bonnie asked, "You're done with House?" and Jen replied: "I am as far as I know, yes."

so she's gonna leave chase for killing james earl jones?
sandlot rip

preview of next week's episode had chase & cameron both leaving the hospital
― abanana, Wednesday, 11 November 2009 07:33 (sixteen years ago)
aside from the james earl jones killing shit, i have kind of enjoyed having the old gang back together.

I'm still not cool with Cameron being gone. ;_;
― Johnny Fever, Thursday, 26 November 2009 18:47 (sixteen years ago)
Yeah I really didn't like that whole storyline and didn't think it was very believable that she would leave Chase over that or in that way. That said, she made me cry when she said goodbye to both him and House. Damn her!

so far, this is the worst season yet

season 4, huh?
― being being kiss-ass fake nice (gbx), Monday, 7 December 2009 05:27 (sixteen years ago)
the episode from the perspective of wilson was insane - how his apt was just totally filthy and jacked up all of a sudden, and that insane scene with the old hispanic man shouting nonsense in spanish while house accused him of being a tennis player...?
― everyone kills people (the schef (adam schefter ha ha)), Monday, 7 December 2009 21:40 (sixteen years ago)
Am wondering if this is for the same reasons that I have taken more of an interest in this show, since they are no longer talking in fancy medical gibberish so much as in stuff you learned like a week before you saw the episode sometimes.
Or, you know, all of the sassmouthy remarks, those are also fun.
― C-L, Monday, 7 December 2009 21:48 (sixteen years ago)
The doctor who does medical reviews of House episodes had the most awesomely corny illustrations for the Wilson episode.

Does anyone else get the impression last night's episode launched a lot of House/Wilson slash?
― sedentary lacrimation (Abbott), Wednesday, 13 January 2010 04:44 (sixteen years ago)
More like inspired by a lot of House/Wilson slash, I'd say.

They played Maggot Brain at the end. Very nice.
― Bill Magill, Wednesday, 13 January 2010 15:02 (sixteen years ago)
That actually made me laugh out loud, which I suspect wasn't the intended effect.I do watch the show for laughs though, so it was fine by me.
― Øystein, Wednesday, 13 January 2010 15:28 (sixteen years ago)
Following it up with a show tune from Chorus Line was definitely done for laughs, so I think your reaction was dead-on!
― Bill Magill, Wednesday, 13 January 2010 15:29 (sixteen years ago)
this was the best episode of this season so far. and by best i mean funniest.

Is she playing the psycho patient?
― Johnny Fever, Monday, 25 January 2010 18:29 (sixteen years ago)
patient ill ---> House indifference ----> wrong diagnosis makes things worse ----> B-plot/character exploration leads to Wilson saying something ----> House figures it out around the :48 minute mark.
― Freddy 'The Wonder Chicken' (Gukbe), Monday, 25 January 2010 18:32 (sixteen years ago)
yep, she went off the deepend.

Expect her to withhold the truth several times, prolonging the delivery of inaccurate diagnoses.

Also when House figures it out he'll stop talking in the middle of a sentence and just walk away from Wilson/Cuddy/whoever.

Also, 13 is so smoking hot.

I actually took a break from "House" during the horrible Chase/murder story. I finally decided to catch up this week and watched all the episodes I missed since then. The show really picked up again after Cameron left, and in particular all the episodes that aired since New Years have been amazing.
― NoTimeBeforeTime, Wednesday, 3 March 2010 00:52 (sixteen years ago)
So... was that the extent of Cameron's return? DUD.

Canon 5D Mark II used to shoot entire House season finale, director says it's 'the future'By Vladislav Savov posted Apr 13th 2010 8:02AM
May 17, folks. That's the date when the grumpy doctor you wish you were and the snazzy camera you wish you owned will join forces on American network television. The final episode in this season's run of House has been shot exclusively using Canon's 5D Mark II, and the show's director Greg Yaitanes has been taking questions about the experience on Twitter. PetaPixel have helpfully collated the Q&A session into a coherent pseudo-interview, which you'll be able to find at the source below. The major takeaway is that the crew liked the experience and didn't have to do an overwhelming amount of work to adapt to the different shooting method. Guess after SNL and its own movie, the 5D Mark II just had to go and do a guest appearance on its favorite TV show.
