I also forgot Blind Date (1999-2006), probably the finest "reality" show devised or executed this decade...

Pete Scholtes, Saturday, 3 October 2009 15:23 (fourteen years ago) link

blind date was awesome, yeah. too late for those, just vote from the choices in the first post!

Shameless bump #46 - So does anyone comes close to James Franco as the prettiest boy in 00s television, right?

I'm not a homosexual either and yet man is Franco pretty. Will do a shameless bump pretty ladies on telly version tomorrow but I have a month of shameless bumps to fill, we can do both sexes.

I'M LEGALLY A MIDGET (a hoy hoy), Monday, 5 October 2009 14:10 (fourteen years ago) link

You're gay if you don't say Desario.

Super Smize (Leee), Tuesday, 6 October 2009 03:57 (fourteen years ago) link

Yet another shameless bump: Ok, so hottest woman on telly in the decade? A fight between Christina Hendricks and... everyone else?

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 6 October 2009 15:25 (fourteen years ago) link

oh how bad terminator spinoff made me forget such a face :( but yeah, summer glau a+ would stare at any time in a crepey fashion.

Christina H or her off Smallville.

P.S. vote!!!!

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Tuesday, 6 October 2009 15:47 (fourteen years ago) link

speaking of Smallville:

http://images.starpulse.com/pictures/2007/02/13/previews/Tom%20Welling-SGG-037671.jpg

terrible show and actor, but boy he sure is pretty.

Roz, Tuesday, 6 October 2009 15:55 (fourteen years ago) link

This thread has taken a turn for the more lissome.

Super Smize (Leee), Wednesday, 7 October 2009 02:43 (fourteen years ago) link

It could be lissomer, though.

Super Smize (Leee), Wednesday, 7 October 2009 02:46 (fourteen years ago) link

Well there is still a couple weeks of shameless bumping to go, so let's see where it takes us. Unfortunately not going to be around the next couple days to do it though.

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Wednesday, 7 October 2009 04:18 (fourteen years ago) link

tim riggins is v v pretty

suggest friend (hmmmm), Wednesday, 7 October 2009 04:29 (fourteen years ago) link

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Damages

Dexter

Dog Bites Man

Firefly

House, MD
In De Gloria
Mad Men
The Office (UK)
the shield
The Sopranos
The Wire

Shameless bump #whatever: Will a mod put that the last day for voting ballots is halloween in the title please?

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Friday, 9 October 2009 15:09 (fourteen years ago) link

Awoooooooooooo! It's the SCARY Halloween deadline for the ILX Decade-End TV Poll!!!!!

some dude, Friday, 9 October 2009 15:12 (fourteen years ago) link

love will terius apart (k3vin k.), Friday, 9 October 2009 18:59 (fourteen years ago) link

can't be bothered counting but about 30.

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Friday, 9 October 2009 19:18 (fourteen years ago) link

You should bump the thread occasionally and maybe get more votes. There are thousands of ILXors out there waiting to be activated.

Suggest Gandhi (onimo), Friday, 9 October 2009 19:19 (fourteen years ago) link

Getting my ballot ready. Btw, two J.J. Abrams shows are missing from the list: Felicity (debatable, since it ran from '98-02) and Alias (which is definitely gonna be in my list somewhere).

Nhex, Friday, 9 October 2009 21:09 (fourteen years ago) link

Except Alias had one (half) of an awesome season, then either terrible everything else.

Super Smize (Leee), Friday, 9 October 2009 22:43 (fourteen years ago) link

i'm gonna have to disagree on that one - even the third season (where it really started to get thin) was pretty enjoyable for the most part. first two seasons are excellent imo

Nhex, Friday, 9 October 2009 23:40 (fourteen years ago) link

True, it was enjoyable but pathologically frustrating at the same time, IIRC. But who am I to say no to such uneven quality? I nom nom nommed'd TSCC.

Super Smize (Leee), Friday, 9 October 2009 23:58 (fourteen years ago) link

haha i actually almost put that on myself - got a lot better in the second season, for real

Nhex, Saturday, 10 October 2009 00:13 (fourteen years ago) link

Shameless bump fun-time: So who is the hardest motherfucker on telly in the 0000000s then? Omar? Paulie? Ali G? Steve O? Raymond's brother who I can never remember the name of but he always puts food to his chin before he eats and he's the size of the house and most probably could take all of them if weapons aren't involved... plus the dad was bloody frankenstein so you know that's pretty hard? Bernard Black's liver? Buffy, she was a slayer of the vampires you know?

P.S. Superman was kind of wimpy and shite this decade, weren't he? Even if he was pretty...

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 11 October 2009 15:22 (fourteen years ago) link

Chloe's more bad-ass than Superman this decade.

Hardest mofo on telly - Tony Almeida, man. He only exists to wander around being hard and moody. Even after he died.

ailsa, Sunday, 11 October 2009 15:27 (fourteen years ago) link

ha, i forgot 24 even existed. :(

Samuel (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 11 October 2009 16:32 (fourteen years ago) link

I mean Chloe on Smallville in my first sentence, btw, though Chloe O'Brian's pretty badass, in a witheringly sarcastic sort of a way.

ailsa, Sunday, 11 October 2009 16:39 (fourteen years ago) link

Almeida's soulpatch disqualifies him.

Super Smize (Leee), Sunday, 11 October 2009 21:12 (fourteen years ago) link

I also forgot Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2007-2008), whose second season is making me trust my love of the first a bit more--just fantastic acting, writing, and handling of myriad moral, social, and sexual issues in a London setting Americans don't get to see much. The Slate pan was very stupid: Billie Piper is amazing.

Pete Scholtes, Sunday, 11 October 2009 22:42 (fourteen years ago) link

Pete Scholtes, Sunday, 11 October 2009 23:02 (fourteen years ago) link

Mmmm, maybe The Daily Show instead of one of those last few...

Pete Scholtes, Sunday, 11 October 2009 23:05 (fourteen years ago) link

John from Cincinnati would have been on my ballot if it had been nommed.
