heady minimalism today, but couldve gone w raga rock, drone, kosmiche, krautrock, basement psych, or west coast psych on another day.

i don't like much psych. but i love Hawkwind and Heldon. what are they?

I remember a guy at the college radio station trying to turn me on to some MOR indie shit and he was like "it's got some nice psychedelic flourishes" and I'm like "I like that shit drenched in acid, dude."

Garage, tho. I mean, that's really where it all started for me. One of the first cd's my dad bought was a comp called "Highs of the Sixties."
The Seeds, Electric Prunes, Standells, Knickerbockers, Love...it was basically Nuggets.

i think psychedelic krautrock is distinguished from kosmische through more structured pieces & also more rhythm? kosmische tending to be closer to ambient music.

for purposes of this poll i'd put elevators in the garage category, even tho they transcend that narrow description and imo created one of the undouted top 5 psychedelic albums of the era.
