There's a shop near here that I've drove by for years and you can see it's packed with stuff and I've wondered if there were records inside, well today I finally saw a car parked in front and there door was open so I stopped and the nice lady had boxes of records. She also has a storage unit with more records I'm going to look at this weekend. I found these for a dollar each! The Fall Guys - S/T (Kathoots) Long time lounge want, band plays a great theme from TV shows and On the Road AgainMarian McPartland - At The Festival (Concord) Jazz?Jeanne Maxwell & Pual Guerreo - Just Jazzin' (A&R) Dallas cocktail lounge, very niceBeatles - Songs And Pictures of the Fabulous (VeeJay)Neil Young - On The Beach (Reprise) nice inside floral patternNeil Young - S/T (Reprise)Neil Young - After The Gold Rush (Reprise)Neil Young - Time Fade Away (Reprise)Neil Young - Comes A Time (Reprise) All Neil Young are beige labels, nice copies, couldn't pass em up!

GREAT RECORD
― 69, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 18:02 (ten years ago) link
Yeah, it's great, unostentatious, a lot of second coming of Monk stuff, but it has more surface noise than the look of it would suggest, so I'm thinking of returning it for credit. :(
